[Amusingly enough Hijikata, not knowing Eva's thought on his overall capabilities, takes her theory as a compliment. It figures that he'd be called in as the Shinsengumi's Demon Vice Commander! (But honestly, Okita and some others from back home are at least as strong and skilled as him... so maybe not.)]
