This came up in a conversation, but I decided to make a post about what different abilities there are here aside from Seasonal and Dragon Blessed ones.

[He's mostly doing this as text because it's a lot of information. But it does have the feature of 'text to voice' for anyone who doesn't wanna read.]

First up is the Soul/Trust Weapon. There are Swords in Stones set up at the backyard of each of the Guilds. You find someone you trust and pull out the sword together. One of you becomes a vessel, holding a weapon for the wielder. The weapon can only be used by the wielder and it's going to be impossible to get it out of their hands or broken until the vessel is critically injured or knocked out or the battle it was summoned for is over.

AS someone with multiple of these bonds, I can say that there's definitely a large variety of weapons. Even magical staffs.

Then you can also get an Elemental Weapon from the guilds. Is basically a ribbon stick that holds one element; water, wind, fire, earth, electricity, ice, darkness or light. Before Dragon Blessed powers this was the only way to get electricity or light magic. I haven't used them myself so someone can probably explain how they work better.


Third is something provided by the Fairy Queen and her fairies. Magical Tattoos that you can get in Amberfall. You can either get a permanent one or a temporary one and the tattoo can be as small or as big as you want. It makes seasonal powers stronger against the dark energy and grants two special abilities you can choose. I'll just write the list they have in Amberfall.

• Danger Sense (gives an ability to sense danger in the surroundings)
• Door Creation (lets the user create a temporary fake door to pass through walls and other obstacles)
• Elemental Resistance (one element) (can be chosen twice)
• Enhanced Sense (choose one of the basic senses) (can be chosen twice)
• Guardian Spirit (summons an astral being to physically protect them, in the shape of something important to them - stays for an hour per summon)
• Mermaid Song (gives an ability to be able to heal minor injuries with singing)
• Minor Regeneration Powers (automatically heal minor injuries)
• New Element creation and manipulation (choose from electricity, light, neutral) (can be chosen twice)
• Retrocognition (able to see an item's past by touching it (does not work on living things))
• X-Ray Vision (lets user see through walls and other objects by touching them (does not work on living things))


All of the abilities use the same magical energy as seasonal abilities do and you do need to practice these skills.


Last, but definitely not the least, there are Pokémon. Creatures from another world who somehow ended up in this one. They have powers not unlike ours but even more beyond that. They evolve and become stronger by fighting each other and the creatures in the Segments.

You can get a 'starter' Pokémon from the Vending Machine in the Underground Mall which has Pokeballs. Sometimes you can even just be handed a Pokémon Egg somehow. Then there's also the Pokémon Dimension that's in the Underground Mall as well.

Someone native to the Pokémon world is likely better at telling more about them.
