[Rapunzel is still experimenting, still figuring this out. She has never used anything remotely resembling this device before. But she gathers it would help her get in touch with others here? Apparently. She figures it akin to leaving notes or letters for someone? That sort of thing. The idea of video, of recording herself is new, not something she considers at first when she experiments with it and herself and Pascal show up on the screen for everyone, green eyes wide as she blinks, taking it in as her head tilts slightly. Pascal is at her shoulder almost entirely hidden amid her hair, which trails out off the screen with having seventy feet of it, though it is definitely visible behind her as well. One hand withdraws from the device, to run her fingers through her hair.]

I was told this might help us talk to others. I don't know if -- is it working, Pascal?

[The chameleon at her shoulder seems to give a shrug? As of course he has no more idea on it than she does.]

If this is working, I'm Rapunzel, and this is Pascal. I wonder if Eugene is here too. If he is, then I need to find him! He's hurt and I can...I need to help him! I can heal him!

[Her hands tighten around her strands of hair, fidgeting and wringing them almost in nervous habit. Pascal nudges at her cheek with his head, causing her to glance down to him and take a breath.]

If anyone knows Eugene - he might be going by Flynn Rider. Please let me know. I just want to know if he's alright. And I guess, I also need to figure this place still. Since I just got here, more or less. Assuming this works. I think it did? Let me see....

[She would feel a little silly, perhaps, if it didn't work. But if it did. If it did help her find him if he was here, it would be worth it. Even if she were rather panicked. She has every reason to be. That the last she recalls being Gothel stabbing him so he wouldn't go leave and tell anyone where she and Rapunzel were. So he couldn't help Rapunzel escape. Maybe in time, she might calm down, but that wouldn't happen immediately, not until she knows if he would be alright. That her going to him to heal him would work. She reaches to the device, to try figure if it worked in sending a message, ending the feed.]

It's not your fault. And I'm not sure anyone else can help, if he isn't here. So I just -- if I can't find him I just have to figure I guess, settling in. Learning about this place and all.

I'm curious, what have you learned about this place anyway?

Just what we were told when we first arrived at that meeting? Where we were told the basic situation? Is there more I should know?

Not really but if my knowledge of how stories work, we should be expecting something big to happen soon.

Not sure what it is but I think it is to be expected.

Yup. I sort of. Smacked Eugene over the back of the head with it when I first met him. I wasn't expecting him to climb through my window like that.

And yes. Hair. Mine is seventy feet long, so. I use it a lot.

[She can restrain someone with it as if it were a rope. That sort of thing.]

And how does your head not hurt?

I guess I'm used to it? My hair has always been really long.

And it doesn't hurt?

[You must have some serious upper arm muscles!!]

Nope. I mean. Tangles and knots can be a pain, and that can kinda hurt with brushing those out since my hair is so long, it can take a while to brush and wash and dry it out. But it doesn't hurt. I'm used to it.

[Not yet mentioning about her hair being magic. Healing. But she likely won't keep that secret for long. Given the memories, given her panic here initially on arrival and all.]

Do you think you can help me out and tell me how you get your hair that long without hurting?

I would like to know!

It's kind of special. So I'm not sure it could be replicated?

I don't know. If I should? It's. Complicated. But I don't think there's anyone else out there with hair like mine. There's a reason it is so long.

It's not time, it's more -- well. It was supposed to be secret. But. I guess. This isn't home. And I don't think she was right. If I do tell people, I can help more. So. Don't freak out? Okay?

My hair is magic. It can help heal people. Or keep them young.

That's amazing. No wonder your hair is so long, the longer it is? The more you can help people out, right? But I can't imagine just how heavy it is!

It's not so much the longer it is the more I can help, the more I can heal. It's more a case of. If it is cut, it turns brown and loses it's power. I wouldn't be able to heal at all if I cut it all shorter. I haven't exactly weighed it to know how heavy it is. It's sturdy enough that I use it to climb up to paint higher in my tower though. And I'd pull Moth -- I'd pull Gothel up to the window?

But that still shows a lot of strength.

That's really impressive, I wish I was that strong too!

I guess it does. I'm sure you could get strong too. With practice. Just maybe not through your hair being so long.

How so?

I guess I could try to make myself better by practicing on my healing but...

I mean. Um, exercise? Training lifting heavy things? Maybe not using your hair to lift it but. Your arms?

And yeah, practicing your healing is a good idea.
