He is, in fact, the most leal servant of the Prinzessin der Verurteilung and is able to speak on her behalf when mundane subjects elude her.

( Fischl cocks her head, considering it, then nods rapidly before giving everyone a broad smile. )

Ah, Mondstadt! So you must be from Teyvat as well.

[ Yoimiya is taking this as a sign that she needs to brush up on her knowledge of the other nations. Has a person of royalty always existed in Mondstadt? There are definitely some questions stirring in the back of her mind but she's just gonna roll with it! This girl's theatrics is pretty endearing to watch. ]

[ Oh no, he has only recently learned about different worlds and such and is by no means qualified to explain them to someone else. The awkwardness radiating off him is palpable. ]

Yes, my home is currently in Teyvat even though I will forever seek my true home. It is only that Mondstadt needs me to investigate things for the Knights of Favonius and the Adventurer's Guild so my egress has been delayed. I only ever wish to help.

( Fischl smiles, glad for the compliment. Everyone in this place seems glad to see her and there are so many from Teyvat. )

Where in Teyvat do you hail from?

I believe he was headed to Sumeru, but it's been a long time. He visited Inazuma once, but I was pretty busy so I couldn't speak with him much.

[ Admittedly, hearing her talk has him curious, both to hear more about the Mondstadt that was there now and about her as well. She did have a way of telling a story. ]

Well, how about a trade then? I could tell you some about Inazuma if you tell me about Mondstadt, and a little more of your homeland if you wouldn't mind?

Well, you must be a good mercenary indeed. I shall refer to you as an adventurer instead because mercenary implies that you do ill deeds for money and that doesn't seem to be the case.

( Fischl can make her own truth; she does it all the time. )

Inazuma! I have longed to go there and see the archon who granted me my Vision upon coming to this world. What is your homeland like, then? I know it is full of many islands.

( In spite of coming to Mondstadt from her ancestral homeland, Fischl knows little about the larger world. )

Of course I am here. I always accompany Oz, no matter what he has to say. Sometimes I get overwhelmed when speaking to others and he merely helps me along. It is...what do you say? A team effort.

( Fischl looks at Oz with a fond look and then back at the camera. )

I always need him by my side.

[ That's an interesting look. Nenonen hasn't seen too many people look at each other that way, let alone a girl and her bird. They must be good friends, Nen thinks. ]

A team effort... It looks like you two would make a good team, yeah. Why do you get overwhelmed when speaking to people? You sounded very confident in your video. I think you do fine.

Sometimes I don't quite know how to address those I find myself among. It is difficult when one has been a princess her whole life to know how to talk to other types of people.

( In truth, Fischl is very lonely and wants to belong, over all, and interacting with others isn't always what she's best at even if she wants friends. )

Well, if it helps I have no idea what a princess is, so I don't know how to talk to one either.

Aha, well... as a kid, I wanted to visit my dad and bring him some Dandelion wine, but I fell overboard and ended up on Inazuma's shores with nothing on hand. I was taken in by a kind family and have been working in their service ever since.

For that, I am most glad. Friends can be so hard to find these days and I must make them or I shall perish alone.

( Fischl covers her face dramatically but there's a little wobble to her voice that indicates that she does, truly, need friends or she'll be too lonely to bear it. )

What a grand adventure, even by accident! I have been sent to this world for a purpose before I can return to my homeland but I do not know what it is. That is what I seek to find. As to what it is like there? There is no place more beautiful than the Immernachtreich, the land of Evernight Dreaming. At the end of things, I will cleanse it of sin so my friends and retainers may return.

( Fischl touches her eyepatch lightly. )

It is why I cannot remove this. I would unleash my powerful gaze upon all of Teyvat.

Sounds tough. [ This would be where a normal person would smile or grin, but Nen only gives a faint crook of their lips and says: ] We should probably be friends then. You know, just to be safe.

I think, if we are to be reunited here, then it will be less a matter of finding and more happenstance.
