[When the broadcast started, Caster was seen sitting in the darkened room of her apartment, dark cloak concealing half her face and covering most of her body in shadow. Certainly, not the most reassuring sight! The ominous smile she gave as she started to speak didn't help either.]

Good evening... Ellipsa, wasn't it? I haven't met many people here yet, but I am known as Caster. A pleasure.

[In Avalon, it had taken her a good couple of months to make her first post on the networks- but under the circumstances, a challenge had presented itself that matched extremely well to her skillset.]

I'll get to the point. I gather that the recent, abnormally cold weather has brought a curse along with it, and that potions need to be brewed in order to alleviate it.

Potion-making happens to be something of a speciality of mine, so if you do find yourself in need of one, do come seek me out at the Apartments in Nightwake City. Likewise, I would not object to sharing teaching of the art if anyone is particularly intrigued.

[She carefully held up a couple of potion bottles in one gloved hand, potions that lightly gleamed in the dark- the first, shimmering gold with a label written in Greek script, and the other a warm orange that flickered like a fireplace. The light only served to throw more creepy shadows across what could be seen of her face.

...Was anyone desperate enough to trust this suspicious woman??]

Of course, you have to be careful with how you use such a thing. Otherwise your plan may well burn you just as much as your enemies.

Focus on learning the magic of this world, that should be sufficient. Once you feel a little more confident, I would be happy to teach you, Noah.

Alright, sounds like a deal then. Is there a kind of standard I have to be at with magic before I learn how to mix potions? I mean, I could learn the rudimentary stuff, but won't mean much if it doesn't help me with this.

You'll want to focus on your precision, first. Infusing your power into ingredients needs a careful hand, after all, and you'd only shatter the bottle if you cannot concentrate your power into a small space.

Nothing as formal as that. Just come by when you're ready, we'll discuss the exact arrangements then. I certainly won't complain if you help me out gathering ingredients, of course.

[ He's surprised by that but also relieved. It's an agreement that makes sense and one that feels fullfilling, even if the prerequisite is a bit squishy to him. ]

Mmmm it exists back home in Avalon, but it's reserved only for the gods. Not something mortals should have at their finger tips. Though the factories up on the upper levels that produce and create more intricate stuff make use of a fraction of the gods powers.

Anyway, the most magic I've ever done is some slight of hand to amuse the kids.
