[There was an off Pokémon blinking into the camera before it was helpfully pulled back up— and the Applin itself scooped up but a larger/taller Pokémon with that sly playful smile in a playful way.]

Hello everyone! Once again, for those who do and don't know me, I am Clavell. I hope you all are having a pleasant day, even with these surprises I assume many have been gifted.

I do, of course, mean those eggs left in a basket and hatching! As most know, I am from a world where these wonderful creatures known as Pokémon exist, and am very happy to help those with questions about their new friends.

[Up popped his Rotomphone with a wide smile before flipping around, displaying the Pokédex app for all to see--]

A friend and I created a phone app some several months ago that you all may freely download that is filled with information about all sort of Pokémon from various regions; which you can download here- [There would be an attached download file for those who wished to download said Pokédex phone app.

And that was a warm smile from the older man--]

I think Misu's eager to play with other Pokemon.

[Honestly, precious and spoke of how much energy the young Sinistea still had. Spoke wonders.]

It certainly appears so, and young Applin here is just as eager. My other pokémon are taking care to introduce themselves to them.

Since I don't have any other Pokemon, can I come visit yours?

Of course! You're always welcome, and I did bring them out to the park for some good exercise and stretching after all.

[And soon enough, she's strolling up to Clavell and his crew, Misu having decided that a cozy place to ride along would be tucked into Evangeline's suit jacket next to her tie. They pop out immediately to go float over to Applin, though.]

I shall be rather easy to spot, at the very least!

[No one else around with a houseful of pokémon taken out to the park to have some room to stretch an expel some energy. Always a little bit of excitement for a hatching egg; more so when keeping them rather than raising to give to a new student.

Clavell smiled warmly, Meowscarada holding Applin still as there was a greeting from the cat as well as the young pokémon.]

Rather well. My team tends to get rather excited over new hatches, and felt it best to let them work it all out here.

[Even if Abomasnow was napping under a tree and Gyarados flying circles above, a not so ominous shadow in knowing what it was.]

[Misu does a little spin and chirps hello.]

Am I right in thinking it's kind of like getting a new family member for them?

Something like that- knowing that rather than preparing this young one for a potential trainer, they will stay with us.

[Just as Litten, now Incineroar, had when the vending machine dispensed her ball. At least he lived close enough to a park that he could regularly take them all out for the exercise they needed outside of his home here.

The other Sinistea were also just as happy to greet Misu along with Applin, just as happy to see them. Likely some good chatter there amongst themselves.]

Right, you usually end up giving them to other people... I can't imagine. I've only had Misu for a little bit and I wouldn't give her up for anything.

[Misu probably telling the other Sinistea about how nice Evangeline is and how she gets them lots of snacks and is very cuddly, A+ trainer.]

Some things I do enjoy being hands on with when it comes to welcoming new students to the Academy, and it means making sure they can make their choice of possibly their first pokémon companion out of the three.

[There was a small gesture towards Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval.]

Of course, I do tend to keep one not chosen if there happens to be one left to raise as my own. It does help ease my heart knowing they will be with a person who will cherish them.

How do you know the students will cherish them? Do you vet all of them in advance to make sure what kind of people they are?

[She knows she wouldn't trust any random person in the City to take care of a Pokemon.]

You could say that I do vet them, given the amount of paperwork required to enroll at the Academy. I personally see to as much as possible, given the time, to ensure each student is well placed if accepted at all.

That, and that if one were not passionate they would not wish to enroll in the first place.

[Starting to get a few programs with the school rolling as well, trying to better encourage students to work together alongside their pokémon-]

The Chairwoman of the Pokémon League, and our top Champion, also works rather closely with the school, given she is also Chairwoman of the Academy board- even before I took up as Director of Uva Academy.

That's good. I'd be worried about handing a Pokemon to just anyone. -I know that my world kind of brings out the worst in people, and it's easier to be kind in other places, but I still would want to be sure.
