I was curious about how many of us have received our companion animals from our previous stars. The two gaelicats you just met are mine from Eitherys and came to Noctium with me. However, my chocobo Ramie did not but arrived here.

[The camera pans to...wait a second... that's not an ordinary chocobo. That's a flipping red chocobo. And she's petting his head like it's no big deal.]

Has this happened to anyone else?

The Miqo'te rubs the back of his head and grins a bright, genuine smile as he nods in answer to her question.]

You have chocobos where you come from as well? Mayhap only certain stars have red chocobos?

We might have them? I've never seen one, though - just the green and yellow ones.

Naturally green ones? I've never seen one of those before.

Think they're common to the mountains. There's a few other colors, but not any I've seen in person.

Oh, the place I was before this star. There's a similar aspect with touch here that it had too but I'm grateful for no gems being stuck to me this time.

Well, red is my favorite color! Although I have been trying to wear other ones too. But if you're worried about his special ability, he doesn't do it at random. Except if you scare him and I can't make promises if and when that happens.

And what care should I take that I do not scare him?

No sudden movements, no weapons around him, don't get angry around him. Just what not to do in front of any animal to scare them.

Did you receive any notice that you had an animal in the stables?

I did, yes. When we arrived, they told me that Ramie was in the stables at the bottom of the Research Center. Breezy and Millie were in the apartment I am currently staying in.

That's a relief. I'd hate to think I had an animal here that I didn't know about.

You said those were called... ah, I'm not sure on the spelling. Creatures native to your world, at any rate?

It sounds terrifying to be honest. I'd worry if I wasn't told about my companions here. And yes, they are from my star. It seems that chocobos are a little bit more familiar; someone mentioned that they've seen different colored ones like green before.

The other two aren't unfamiliar, but cats on my world at least tend to look like this.

[Helpfully, he attaches a picture of Arthur being adorable but probably also plotting dismemberment.]

Chocobos, meanwhile, are nowhere to be found. We have similar large birds, that is, but nothing one can actually ride.
