Does anyone know how to forge swords? I have one, but he's old and I don't want to push him with magic he hasn't encountered. A new one would be nice; one forged in this world and attuned to its peculiarities.

But I'm not terribly picky. I like all swords.

He's really good at what he does, he can even do really fancy designs for swords if you want.

Swords are cool! I'm better with a scythe, personally, but swords have a lot more variation in style, it's really interesting.

Depending on your powers and your season, you may be able to create one yourself. Ice swords are just as deadly as those of steal, as an example.

Water can take so many forms. I could maybe hold it in the shape of a sword if I had enough control.

As said above, I'm Jean and I own a forge in Sunwaning. I'm always happy to help to help with both creating new weapons and giving old ones maintenance where necessary.

I can even make weapons that are meant to use by combining with Seasonal Magic.

I am very interested in combining a sword with Seasonal Magic. My element is Water.

Water, got it. I should be able to come up with that a design that supports water specifically, since it's very different from other elements.

I look forward to seeing what you can do. Any element can be used offensively or defensively, but water has more forms than most.

One idea that springs to mind is a curved sword - it would also work for it thematically, not just to provide unique functions.

But I'll think on it.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about forging swords, but it looks like you've got that handled. I'm rather interested in knowing more about your sword though, if you don't mind sharing. He sounds quite interesting.

I don't mind at all, but I can't say I know much about Fang Xin. He is very old and as dark as black jade. I don't think I have ever had a sharper sword than him.

He is a magic sword - as such he is infused with a soul. I talk to him often.

Swords like him are rare; that's why they are so highly valued. I used to collect similar weapons, though he is stronger and finer than most in my collection.
