[Russell didn’t use the network much. It was kind of a hassle and talking to strangers wasn’t his idea of a good time. He needed help, though. So here he was.]

I need a job.

I’m 15 now, I guess.
I don’t have many skills and I’m not very strong.
I don’t really like talking to people.

[Wow. Really selling himself here, huh?]

Does anyone have anything that I could do?

Rather than focusing on what you're bad at, it might be best to focus on what you're good at or interested in? For example, perhaps you'd like taking care of plants?

Taking care of plants would be okay.

You needn't be good at lots of things. You can be good at only a few things and still find employment.

It wouldn't be remiss to have a maintenance gardener and aquarist. I can do the work, but the daily maintenance for the amount we have is time consuming. I could use it elsewhere if I had someone else doing the daily upkeep and machines don't necessarily have the delicate touch flora need.

I would rate him at about a 9. He works diligently, he thrives on being useful and helpful to others, and he is very unlikely to bother anyone else on the grounds on purpose.

I also owe my existence to him and consider him a dear friend and confidant, so. At the very least, you can trust that he wouldn't want to make me upset.

Russell is tremendously important to me in ways I could not begin to explain. Being able to feel helpful to others will be good for him, and thus it means a great deal to me.

I have confidence he can do the work well. But thank you for giving him the opportunity to do so.
