{Xie Lian is walking on a beach, clad only in his white trousers. His hair hangs almost to his thighs, covering the majority of his back, but his chest is bare and there are telling marks on his skin. ~~Thank you, San Lang!~~

He crouches before a cute sand castle and smiles happily, reaching out to smooth out a tower.}

What else does my castle need? {His ears are shaped like fins and there are golden and orange scales scattered over his torso.}

I think a little King and Queen. Oh and they need a baby or two, right?

{Now his smile dims slightly.}

Those with aquatic transformations are welcome to join me! Things have been a little tense, haven't they? Swimming can be...a release.

{He brightens again.}

San Lang~ I'm putting you here. {Xie Lian forms a little person, crudely, out of sand and places them right beside the royal children.}

[ Don't mind your ghost husband ogling your gorgeous form~ He loves making those marks, and sporting similar! Hua Cheng knows his beloved is oblivious to the effect he likely has on others, so of course he's watching anyone who stares too long at Xie Lian.

For himself, he stretches out at the edges of where the waves still wash over him, enjoying the view and location - even if the sun is a bit too bright for his comfort. He also has some unusual marks - gills at his throat (closed at the moment) to name one set. ]

Gege, come back to the water with me!

{He has permission to ogle as much as he likes! It's not like Xie Lian is keeping his eyes off of his husband~ ~~Please tell him that his trousers, when wet, are see-through. He hasn't noticed yet.~~

Perking up, he abandons his castle immediately and runs to his San Lang, kicking up sand as he goes. He tackles his husband with a laugh, rolling with him in the waves.}

You're just going to nibble on me!

[ Hua Cheng grins when Xie Lian abandons that castle in favor of coming to him. And of course he catches his beloved! Rolling further into the waves feels good, especially with his husband wrapped around him. ]

As are you~

[ Which he proceeds to nibble playfully on that slender, perfect neck~ ]

{No sand castle can compare to being in his husband's arms! Xie Lian wraps his legs around his beloved too, holding off his transformation for just a bit longer.}

I can't help it. My San Lang is delicious!

{He gasps and laughs, kissing and nibbling on Hua Cheng's ear.}

And so, so handsome.

[ Hua Cheng, however, allows his half transformation - his shark tail appears and he moves them further into the water, content to do the swimming for both of them as long as his beloved wants. The kisses and nibbles have him shudder happily as he basks in his husband's brightness. ]

I am nothing to gege's beauty~

Nonsense. You were adorable as a child and now as a man, you are stunning. I can't compare!

{He keeps his place, nestled against his love, his arms and legs embracing the other man. The water feels good and he places more kisses down Hua Cheng's neck and shoulder.}

When I first saw you in the cart, my heart skipped a beat. Then in Ghost City, I couldn't look away from you. Did you realize...?

[ Nothing could be better than this! Hua Cheng lazily propels them through the water, his arms remain curled protectively around his beloved - his tail is more than strong enough to keep them moving indefinitely. The kisses must be answered! He nuzzles in against his love's neck, kissing and nibbling playfully on that tempting skin.

And so his smirk can hardly be missed~ ]

It was difficult to miss, for I was always looking right back at you.

{There is no safer place than in his San Lang's arms! Xie Lian laughs into their kisses and keeps a tight hold on his beloved. His body feels so good and alive! Nothing hurts for once, which is a wonderful change for him. He has spent nearly eight hundred years with various aches and pains!

But his Hua Cheng melts them - like the rest of him.}

I can't believe you took that old bun and ate it! It couldn't have been good.

[ 800 years of pain and torment. Of scraping together every hint of power and skill he could get his hands on.

All for his beloved god.

All worth it, to know he can protect Xie Lian and help him. He only regrets not being able to protect him from all of Xie Lian's torments and pain. So he tries to counter each pain with pleasure.

He grins at that laughter and claims those soft lips in a heated kiss. ]

Of course I ate it. It was a gift from my beloved.

{When he thinks about how much San Lang has suffered... It's enough to break him. His sweet one has shadowed his steps, as best as he is able, for centuries. Xie Lian knows that was a merciless job that offered no perks. And yet Hua Cheng never gave up and he never grew bitter.

His love is amazing. Xie Lian moans and kisses his husband again, his lower half turning into a koi tail. He keeps his arms wrapped around Hua Cheng so they are swimming side by side.}

You won it fairly. I am going to give you much better gifts in the future.

[ Each mile stone of power he'd achieved had been because he'd witnessed some horror that Xie Lian suffered. Each time he'd resolved he had to get strong enough to protect the one person he loved.

The only thing he ever needed was to be by his beloved's side. The fact he has Xie Lian's love in return...awes him every day.

The emergence of that pretty tail must be explored! One hand slips free of his beloved's waist to stroke over the pretty scales and delicate waist fins as they swim along.

He chuckles warmly and presses into another kiss. ]

The best gift of all is having your love.

{He could never imagine (even in his wildest fantasies) that someone could love him to that degree and be so devoted to him. He would have told Hua Cheng to not bother, to be proud of himself for his accomplishments and find a way to let his soul rest if he had known. Now, selfishly, he is glad he hadn't known.

Wiggling his fin ears, Xie Lian kisses over Hua Cheng's jaw and nuzzles his ear. The fins on his waist wiggle too, fluttering against Hua Cheng's hand.}

That is one thing that will never change. Even if you become a shark, I will find a way to follow you into the depths.

[ That is precisely why he'd never told Xie Lian. His beloved had had to discover everything himself.

He tilts his head enough to welcome those kisses along his jaw, then his ear, fingers caressing those pretty fins.

Hua Cheng smiles, amused. ]

If I fully transform, I won't be able to hold you. Like this, I can.

{He makes his way back to Hua Cheng's lips and kisses him harder, his cheeks pink. His tail wiggles happily, brushing against his love's tail almost sensually.}

Mmhm! That's why I don't want to be a full koi fish when you're around. Besides, I don't think this is the right environment for them anyway.

[ He hums, pressing hungrily into that kiss and wraps both arms back around his beloved. The way that frilly tail brushes against him makes him want. But he has better control than to just take (when he's in his right mind and not driven crazy from the Mountain's opening). ]

Mmm...No. You need a pretty little pond for that.

{Hua Cheng can take all he wants - with Xie Lian's full permission! His love's ashes are resting against his chest, a bright, beautiful sign of his devotion to his darling husband. There is also a string tied to his finger, connecting him to the other half of his soul.

Hua Cheng is not alone in his hunger.}

Nnn you make me sound...mm...spoiled. {He grins and rubs their bodies together in the sun warmed water.}

[ Just as Xie Lian can take all he wants~ Hua Cheng has not once regretted giving his ashes to his beloved god. He regularly plays with the red string that connects them, tugging teasingly at it to make sure his husband knew he was being thought of.

He smirks, then moans happily at the sensual rubbing. ]

I like spoiling my beloved husband.

{His fins perk up and then press against his head as his cheeks turn red. He entwines his fingers, tangling their string between their palms and then he kisses his Hua Cheng tenderly, lovingly.}

You're always spoiling me! {Xie Lian embraces San Lang and snuggles against him, rubbing their hips together with a soft moan.} I want you, San Lang.

[ Each time he makes Xie Lian blush is it's own reward. He smiles softly, lovingly at his husband as their fingers tangle together. He hums into the loving kiss, basking in his god's endless affection and love.

'I want you, San Lang.'

He growls softly, playfully, then brings them effortlessly back to their home. And onto their bed - so what if their forms mean it's instantly soaked? He keeps himself under Xie Lian, offering himself as a cushion from any fall as he shifts back to his normal form.

Minus clothes. And smirks. ]

Then take me. However you wish.

San Lang! {He gasps and then laughs, the sound vibrant and joyful, as they land on their bed. Ah well. He can clean it later. Shifting back, he too is naked save for his necklace and their string. Since he lands on top of Hua Cheng, he groans at the contact and peppers his love's strong chest with kisses.}

Lay back. {Xie Lian summons a jar of oil and reaches between his slender thighs to prepare himself.} Mmm I'll do the work.

[ His laughter joins Xie Lian's and there's not even a hint of shame. They can always clean the bed later! They just have more important things to do first~

Hua Cheng openly admires his beloved's beauty as Xie Lian shifts back and arches into those feathery kisses. He rests his hands on his beloved's hips, helping to support him, to lift him up to juuust the right height for whenever he's ready. And watches shamelessly as his god prepares himself. ]

I love you.

{This is much more important. Xie Lian gazes down at his beloved as if he is the reason the sun, the moon and the stars exist. It's easy for him to imagine Hua Cheng inside of him, too. As his fingers stretch him, he feels hot all over and his heart aches to just...

To be connected to the one man who has always understood him. He uses the oil generously on his San Lang too, stroking his member with a sweet smile.}

I love you too.

{Then, when he is ready, he lifts himself too and peeks between their bodies before sitting down on his San Lang.}

Mmm...

[ If his heart still beat, it would flutter and leap under that gaze. As it is, Hua Cheng gazes right back, mirroring that emotion. His fingers twitch and stroke over his beloved's hips, as if they're the ones stretching his love.

A low moan answers the oil being used on him and he thrusts lazily up into those teasing fingers.

Finally his beloved lifts up and then...sits down. Sinks down onto him, making him groan and thrust up into that willing, giving body that is pure molten pleasure. ]

Perfect.

{He is certain both of their hearts leap and flutter in his chest. That's why Hua Cheng's heart feels so still! His darling gave it to him long ago when he was a faceless soldier and Xie Lian has kept it ever since.

Slender fingers stroke over Hua Cheng's chest as Xie Lian sits down on him. Being filled is heavenly - no, it's better! - and he whimpers at the sudden thrust. They are...together. He could do anything at this moment, but he chooses to kiss his darling until he is breathless.}

You are... My San Lang...! {Then he lifts himself almost off of his love before sitting back down again, using his abdominal muscles to create the perfect rhythm.}
