Uh... school cultural festival?

I don't even go to school here.

Me neither, anymore anyway... But it was kinda fun, wasn't it? What kinds of things did you do for it?

Nothing too special, really. A lot of it was just making food a lot of the time.

I did something with my club one year and print a special edition of the bulletin we wrote, but that was a one off thing.

Aww, okay. I didn't get a lot of them, but I thought the ones we did do were fun. Although I guess pretty much everything is fun!

If it's not Culture Day, and it's something that happens here too... uh... your oshi's birthday?

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't as if they weren't fun. But it wasn't as if we did anything super out there that you wouldn't see at other culture festivals in Japan.

Do I look like I have an oshi?

Aww. That's okay, though! Is it another holiday? I know Halloween lasts a couple days here now that we imported it, so it's kinda November...

What's a shikishi?

It's a square autograph board, basically.

You'd get the person's signature on it, sometimes with a special message or a small drawing.

Although I don't know if it would even have a decent market value here.
