Hello, everybody.
This is a bit of a more formal post today, since I want to share a few things and then inquire for some paid help.
1) While digging through the panels at the mines, I found some strange cryptic messages in the code. I can't understand them, but it looks like the language is similar to either French and German, so if someone is familiar with either of both of those languages, I'd appreciate it greatly. Although I suppose the languages might have different names in other worlds, so if you want to take a gander at the code to see if it's familiar to you at all, feel free to give me a heads up and I'll message it to you in private. I'd actually like to learn both in the off chance that this trend continues; so if anybody would want to teach me, I'm willing to pay up.
2) The digital signature of someone known as "The Scientist" was found as well - if anybody has any more information regarding this character at all, please let me know. I saw that there was a diary snippet, but if there's anything else...
3) I plan on revisiting the Temple of Life to see if there are any similar panels and more information to look out for. I don't really want to make this a huge expedition, as I do not plan on going inside, so I'll limit this to two other people at most. I'm primarily looking for a bodyguard to look over while I work on going through the files, but someone who is decent at dealing at technology would be good as well. Again, I'm willing to pay for the additional help.
That should be it -- if there's anything that anybody else found down there that would be good to know, I'll leave this post open for information sharing. Otherwise, feel free to respond to any of the three points above publicly or privately. Thanks.

The Scientist? The same one who was doing those creepy experiments on people and monsters? I guess it must be.

Being able to figure out one language should work in our favor; hopefully I can find someone else who understands the others.

What do we know about the Scientist... I know they created the Vampirebear and kidnapped people to feed to it. They're one of "the" people, like the Doctor and the Wizard and the Knight, who work for the Pierrot who caused the Tragedy of Greed. I don't know anything about them personally aside from being really, really devoted to their science, though.

What is the Tragedy of Greed, exactly?

1. By 'disappear' do you mean literally or... they're all dead now? Can never be too sure with magic-based worlds.
2. Do you know what happened to the crown prince? You said that they were used in experiments, but is there more than that...?

[ And so she does! It's not really a secret, but it's better to keep the clutter away from the main post. ]

It's very similar, at least! I think some are words I know, but written differently? I can at least say what I think they mean, but I don't know if I'm more help than that.

On the second: wish, fear, life.

I would be interested to see what you have found.

[ Which she will send this over. ]

[And that's all she'll hear back for a little while, but he will follow up with -]
I can tell you that this is not written in a single language.

It isn't uncommon for someone to do that for code. Or maybe the person's home language was a mix of two languages to begin with.
no subject
Though, again, perhaps not too uncommon for a code.
It does make it less likely that it would be able to be solved using a direct cipher. I would expect something more subtle at work.
