Hey, everyone.

So I know everyone's been busy with other excursions, but I wanted to actually mention a few findings of my own as well as pose a question. I'll start with the question, first...

Would anybody here be interested in a Technology Gathering, of sorts? I guess it's more like a 'club' really, but I'd like to meet up with some likeminded people who are interested in that sort of thing, just in case it comes up more in the future.

Speaking of which, I did go back to the Temple of Life to check if there were any panels and lo and behold, there were! The game file was found inside along with some coordinates: x843, x901.

That's pretty much it from me, let me know your thoughts about any of this!

Off the top of my head... I know Red Son loves robotics and that kind of thing, but he's also really bad at making friends, so I don't think he'd volunteer for a club unless someone convinced him.

I'm not exactly the kind of person who can convince people, nowadays...

I'm still working on convincing him that his company is enjoyable and I like him as a person. Progress is slow.

I don't plan on forcing anyone to show up or participate in any case. I just thought it might be useful given some of the tech-related things that have been showing up...

I don't know about useful exactly, but I do think it would be fun? Are we focused on being useful?

I'm leaving it open to all levels as long as the person is interested in the topic.

There might be some moderate to higher level discussion from time to time, but different worlds already have different levels of technology to begin with and I have no plans on locking anyone out; I'd much rather have people learn as long as everyone is respectful.

Perfect! I've always loved STEM but I've been diving deeper into the tech & engineering side over the past few years.

I'm definitely up for a tech club! I'm really new, but meeting likeminded people would be a great start to life here! Besides, I'm better a that kinda stuff than all this magic mess.

What's this about a game file?

I've been here for a while but honestly, same.

So basically, if you go into the Temple of Life, you basically are playing a VR game, but with the whole "if you die in the game you die in real life" sort of caveat, at least for the locals. I basically found the program that runs that.

Right? I'm glad I'm not the only one immediately comfortable with the thought of magic.

[Kazuichi doesn't trust it so he hasn't attempted it yet. He will probably need some convincing or he will unlock something while screaming at danger.]

That's crazy! Wouldn't it be possible to make the game less lethal if you have the code? Not that I would be able to, I don't have that much experience with codes.

It's honestly a rarity if you ask me. People see the ability to conjure up magic as this big isekai power fantasy.

I could probably try tinkering with the code myself on a separate device since I'm a programmer, but it might take some time.

"I Was the Ultimate Mechanic and Now I Have Been Tasked to Save the World" sounds like a pretty decent isekai title, not going to lie. But I would rather stay myself than surrender to magic.

I mean, if you have interest in doing it, why not? But only if you actually want to do it.
