[The video starts up on a new face, someone who's apparently found her apartment and original clothes and everything. She is very orange. She has also propped the phone up somehow and spread out across the table are a whole bunch of pamphlets -- pretty much every pamphlet it's possible to get when first arriving to this world -- and a notepad which, due to angle and distance, it's possible to see some writing in it but not to make out what it actually says.]

Allll right, everything seems to be working... Hello everybody!

[That smile is very wide and almost tangibly nervous. She bounces on her feet; a pen is in one hand even as she gestures them a lot as she talks.]

It is great to meet all of you, I am super excited to get to know more people who've been brought into all of this... From what I've seen, we have the responsibility of helping save this world, but we're also responsible for leading our own lives like normal people, needing places to stay, money, jobs...

[She picks up her notepad, eyes darting over what she's already written.]

It sounds like there are a lot of benefits to joining one of these Guilds, but I'd love to hear from anyone who actually has experience with them, good or bad... Or experience with other jobs or ways to help! And if someone happens to have any more questions, who or what is the best source of information in this city? After all, it's always safer to know what to expect.

--Oh! I almost forgot. I'm Anxiety!

[Oh ho, is this one of Sadness' friends? He doesn't want to just assume, but they are both very colorful.]

Regarding more questions, I would suggest asking someone who was with the first wave of people to be brought here two years ago, such as myself.

I'm employed as a doctor primarily, but I do take on some of the easier guild quests as well. The level of commitment expected is very low.

[Anxiety perks up at that, smile growing again and even her hair straightening up a little.]

Are the easier guild quests enough to live on? Because I'm not sure I'd be able to, like... fight monsters, or go exploring dangerous places no one should go...

I am, in fact. [Smile!]

Hmm... I can't say it would be a reliable source of income. Some months may have plenty of easy quests, and some may have relatively few. 'Tis better treated as a source of supplemental income, in my experience.

I really appreciate that.

[She even appreciates the relatively bad news, mouth turning downwards as she scribbles a few notes, then looks over what she's already written down.]

I'll have to take a look at other options, then... What did that Olwen person mean by saving this world? Do you happen to know what their end goal is, if it's driving out what they called the Darkness, or completely reclaiming their Seasonal Segments, or there being more power holders from this world again?

I believe driving out the Darkness is the primary goal? That seems to be what we've focused on in the time I've been here, at least.

All right, are there ways to do that that don't involve fighting?

[That's a pretty immediate next question, even as she's making note of Kantera's last answer.]

Certainly. Many missions involve solving puzzles to find secrets. And I usually find myself offering healing to combatants, or preparing food for them to take with them.

[Anxiety's sigh of relief is obvious; her entire body wilts a little with it.]

Kantera. Pleased to meet you, Anxiety. May I ask, do you know a person by the name of Sadness?

I'm very happy to meet you too, Kantera!

[!!] I do! I just spoke to her, I wasn't expecting her to be here at all... Do you know her? How is she, is she doing okay?

We've spoken a few times. She seems to be doing relatively well - a bit shy and overwhelmed, but alright.

I was quite moved upon meeting her - she and I, and perhaps you, are the same sort of existence.

[Just little 'part of another person' things.]

Ohh, that's good... N-not to imply anything about your skill as a doctor, but I was worried that you knew her because she'd gotten hurt...

[Wait. Record scratch. Anxiety had been wilting a bit again in relief and, well, anxiety, curling in on herself a bit, but her already big eyes widen again.]

Wait, you're like us? Are you an emotion too, or-- a part of someone's mind?

[He shakes his head at the first part - no, she's fine.]

Part of someone's dream, to be specific. Sadness is the first person I met here who is like me.

[Which he has a very normal amount of feelings about, definitely.]

[That's a relief... And honestly, this revelation is really... something; it's so unexpected she doesn't even know how to feel about it, but she's at least a little touched. And very curious.]

I hadn't expected to meet anyone else like us here. Not that wasn't actually one of us.

--It's different, being here without that person, isn't it?

It is, yes. -Though in my case, that person - Russell, for me - is here now entirely separate from myself, but I had been independent for years before that.

[And being here with his person but not a part of them is an entirely separate can of worms.]

[Anxiety is obviously taken aback by the very idea of that. An entirely separate can of worms indeed.]

Oh, that would also be... very unusual. I, uh, hope that everything's going well with both of you.

[Kantera holds up a hand and wiggles it in a 'so-so' gesture.]

We are getting by, at least. But it is a difficult thing to talk to ordinary people about.

I can believe that. It can be hard to talk to even other emotions about things they're not used to feeling. We're all very specialized in a few areas of expertise, but that can have its downsides sometimes.

It's nice that you and Sadness were able to make friends.

I'd like that, Kantera! I've really appreciated talking to you, and it would be nice to get to know someone who's like us. We're all in a really strange situation here, so we should stick together!

[Oh, good - Kantera's expression turns obviously relieved.]

I agree wholeheartedly. Being in a strange world in a strange situation is easier when you have people who can begin to understand.

[Anxiety gives a fervent, quick nod.]

I'm hoping to look around the city more once I've talked to people a little like this, and met up with Sadness... I want to at least look at the Spring Guild. Do you mind if I ask where your clinic is? I might visit!

Blossomcrown, all right... [Anxiety makes another note on her notepad for that -- Spring Guild is also in Blossomcrown! -- then looks back up to the screen alertly.] What name should I be looking for?

It is! At least, I showed up in a huge field of flowers with cherry blossoms, and I was told that means I'm a Spring power holder now. Can we really learn how to control the wind?

It is true! You can even learn to fly, eventually, as well as to heal others. I'm also a spring season and I'm quite fond of it.
