How do you tell the difference between romantic love and platonic love?
Everyone I've asked so far has given me a different answer.

Either painstakingly or painfully or both. It's not something you can force into your consciousness. And if your life is like mine the realizations hit you with epically terrible timing.

Honestly I'm kind of tempted to toss this whole self-examination thing in the trash, sorry to everyone I might potentially have feelings for but you're going to have to wait for a sudden revelation.

Trying to force yourself into realizing feelings never works as well as just waiting. I've tried both. Trying to rationalize it ended up terribly. Waiting for it to come to me was easier on everyone.
I can't imagine they wouldn't be willing to wait for you anyway. If they're not then they're not worth your feelings.

I mean I did just think to myself 'Macaque likes me?' so maybe a little bit bad at feelings at least?

You really thought I disliked you?

Kidding, kidding.
Just having my daughter like you would be enough to give me better than neutral feelings. But I like you fine on your own merits.
