I hope everyone's okay now! Cleaning up after all that is HARD but at least my house didn't get hit too bad... Does anyone need help with anything after last week? Oh, and speaking of my house, we just added a bunch of expansions! We've got an indoor pool now! Friends can come over whenever! I think I know most people on here anyway, and Mary-chan's got a bunch of friends too.

Also also! During that whole thing I tried the full shapeshift. You know, the dragon skill that changes you on the inside and not just the outside? I did it to be more giraffe than I already am because I thought it would help me fight. And it was like, whoa! I could see everything! And hear everything! And I kinda kicked a guy into a wall! Does anyone know how to deal with sensory overload if I ever do that again because it's kind of a lot and by kind of I mean a lot a lot.

No, I mean like... they haven't tried to hurt anyone here, right? But it sucks that they're all sad too. I bet it's awful.

Tried to hurt anyone? I don't think so. I mean, aside from normal friend fights and stuff, that sucks.

Well, then it's fine. Probably. Hopefully being here is better for them. I've heard a fair few people here are in that boat.

Yeah, they are... I dunno what to do for them, but I keep trying. My big sister's like that too. The City's the worst place I ever heard of.

Yeah... { he trails off and goes quiet for a moment. } Evangeline got upset with me when I suggested we go sort out her world after this one too.

She doesn't like anyone saying that, no matter how strong they are. She thinks anyone trying to fix it will die in, like, an hour.

[emanation]

I'm guessing you've said something similar to her as well then? { he sighs. } Like honestly, where I'm from isn't exactly doing great at the moment either, but it'd get by with what we have. It sounds like hers needs a proper reset if a bunch of people could do something to help.

Yeah... I wish we could. I still wanna. But it scares her so much I don't wanna say it 'cause it'll just hurt her. I just think everyone deserves a chance to be safe. To be good.

[emanation]

Yeah, I get what you mean. She really wasn't happy with me when I said it wasn't out of obligation and it'd be our own choice not hers...

Uuu... Thanks for trying. I still don't wanna give up. One day everything's gotta get better!

Yeah, same. Besides, it's kind of my whole thing, protecting people. Stopping them being from hurt and all. And if there's a team of us it can't go as badly, right?

Right! Me neither. Oh uh... right. Actually did you want to keep training or is that enough for today? I d'know how tiring it is to do the shapeshifting thing...

[Rinku takes a deep breath.]

I can keep going. This isn't anywhere as hard as Neechan's training!

[emanation]

I mean I'm not exactly fighting back.

{ he's giving her the time and space to figure it out after all. instead of you know. coming at her constantly. }

Unless it'd be better if I did?

I dunno. Do you wanna try it? I don't really know what makes good or bad training.

[emanation]

I find it easier, as it's more realistic, but if it's too rough on you just say and we can go back to what we were doing before.

You ready?

{ tbh even with that he'll hold back as he's taken down weakened demon lords with his current abilities. from what he knows of rinku she's doing great--but he has no idea how that compares to a demon lord. }

[Rinku breathes in and out. She tries to focus on one spot, but her mind's pulled everywhere, her eyes darting around. She shakes her head and charges at Ezra.]

[emanation]

{ this time he won't just wait and take it, as promised he does the opposite. he ducks his body down, the chain from his arm drawn as instead this time he aims for her legs to topple her over. }

[roundandaround]

[Rinku does fall, but she's prepared for this thanks to her training with Evangeline. She falls forward over Ezra and grabs at his shoulders while flipping forth onto her back, trying to yank him down with the momentum.]

[emanation]

{ unfortunately for rinku, people (or rather, demons) have often tried to do stuff like this. as soon as he can tell what she's trying to do he'll use the momentum and his own feet to kick up off the ground until he can flip backwards in the air, spinning, then kind of landing on his feet behind her.

it is a bit clumsy since he was lower to the ground, enough he does fall onto one knee after, but he isn't toppling down as well. he does laugh though, really not having expected it from her. }

Nice move.

[Rinku lets go in surprise. She looks up at Ezra and cheers.]

Whoa, you're good at this! Come on!

[She gets back up and throws a fireball at him, planning to rush to wherever he dodges to.]

[emanation]

{ don't boost his ego, rinku... he's overconfident enough as is. the way his smile turns smug says a lot about it. }

This is what I do for a living, I'd hope I would be.

{ but the next part when riku throws fire at him he isn't used to. he's practiced with creating it as well at this point but making it harmless, well there's a first for everything. he concentrates on the flame itself, reaching for it with his hand to try and catch it while focusing. she'll see the colour change, moving from the orange-red that flames usually are to something more of a softer yellow.



only he's so surprised at himself he does nothing to retaliate. he just stands there awestruck. }

[Rinku rushes him and does another strong kick, spinning on her heel to send him flying off to the side.]
