Ah, that would be "Fairy Knight." Both a job title, and an apt descriptor. The spelling of "faerie" with two "e"s would be more accurate, but I didn't come up with the name.

I don't tend to talk about this too much to avoid seeming like I'm asking for special treatment, but my mother is the Marchioness of a region known as Varma.

I am accustomed to working with nobility, so it's not an issue for me. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm bragging, but I technically outrank her. I was a duchess in life.

As for visiting other worlds, I may have an edge there. There's an organization in my world with technology and magic that could likely be repurposed for such a thing with enough work.

The Kaleidoscope currently remains in the domain of True Magic in my world, unreplicable by technology or Magecraft, but it is known to exist. Still, its use is currently limited to one man and a couple of sticks, so we'll be starting from a similar point.
