[So. Here's that green-haired, freckled teen that his loud bff was going on about. Izuku sits cross-legged on the bed in his bedroom of his newly provided apartment that he has yet to decorate or anything to personalize the space. He looks a little sheepish as he checks if it seems to be working. He's used to something similar, having this sort of technology back home, at least.]

Um. Hi? I'm Midoriya. That is, uh, Midoriya Izuku. I guess a lot of you already kind of know of me from Kacchan earlier...

[He's sorry. Really. It isn't like he asked Bakugo to go off like that.]

I was just trying to get my bearings, I guess. I heard there's school, or at least classes, here. To learn about our new abilities? I think I'd like that. I want to learn to use mine. To at least learn how to control it. If not to help out with it, and my Quirk. Plus, I want to look into prosthetics to help Kacchan. Maybe learn more about music....? I'm sure there's probably a library or something I can check! And I want to be useful and help out, maybe figure out a part-time job?

[......Yeah. That talk that he had with Bakugo about not overdoing it. Izuku might already be wanting to do more than he might realistically be able to manage. Because he's a Nerd and actually wants to Learn about this place and the abilities, and wants to help out as much as he can. This kid is just not used to the idea of not keeping busy, not being useful. Still in that habit of feeling like he has to prove himself.]

Ah, you think so? Lots of teenagers have part-time jobs after school.

Yeah, but are they also doing all that other shi--stuff you're going to do on top of a job?

Ah, I guess? But um. Well, that is...maybe not?

[Izuku can't say that. But he does know that some students have part-time jobs. That they were doing extra study to get good grades. To get good jobs. Doing extra-curriculars in clubs at school, that sort of thing.]

I mean you do you, but you gotta eat and sleep in among all that stuff too?

[Considering her exposure to humans before ending up here was "befriend every Monster in a day or so" Frisk, who is so much younger than Izuku, she's probably not the best to be saying this.]

Right. I know. And I do!

[...Maybe he isn't as strict about sleep as Bakugo, but still. He does rest. And eat. But man. Everyone seems to be calling him out. And most of these people barely even know him?!]

[And with Mew Mew it's just a fluke that she's doing it.]

Well, that's all that matters right? Not killing yourself with too much stuff.

Killing myself? Ah, it wouldn't be that bad....?

[Says the guy who has irreparably frakked up his arms and pushed himself beyond his limits multiple times. It isn't like he isn't used to being tired and pushing through. But that is admittedly usually in a battle. Not the same as day to day exhaustion.]

You never know! Although I guess humans are pretty hardy, so what do I know?

[In other words she's warning him, but also saying it's all up to him what he does.]

Meaning you aren't human?

[Not that that is necessarily a huge surprise. Depending on the Quirk, some might look quite different from a regular human back home. He's not scared or judging when he asks, merely curious.]

I am not. I'm a Ghost Monster.

[And then, because she knows it's going to be asked.]

Also I didn't die, I've always been a Ghost.

[How did that work? He guesses she's...okay? If she's always been that way?]

Yeah, there are a lot of different kinds of Monsters. I'm a Ghost.

[She feels like that explains it pretty well?]

Ah! So, is it, there are different kinds of monsters, like there are different Quirks back home? Interesting.....what other kinds of types are there?

[....Yup. Nerd mode is outweighing how kinda creepy that is, I guess????]

I have no idea what you mean by Quirks! But like, I'm a Ghost, I was living under the sink of two Skeletons, I know a fish and a lizard monster. And there are Boss Monsters too.
