[this post took him a lot longer than it should have and he still only makes it text (for good reason, really). he's not trying to (literally) show his face to everyone just yet, so he'll make sure to keep himself on the down-low for now, even if it means asking the network for help on some things.

I'm only just learning about our new powers, which I have questions about, but my main question is: how many animal forms can we have? I've changed three times already and it's all been different.

Some of them have only been half-transformations, too. Is that normal?

Any help would be appreciated.

You never know! Plenty of humans have powers. And plenty of people think they're one thing and then they're actually another thing!

Maybe? I mean, anything could happen, especially in Ellipsa. And I don't know you, so you could be anything too!

How long have you been here? Did it take you long to figure out your other powers?

Two-and-a-half years! I was one of the first people brought here! Except I wasn't really good at it at first, and it took me forever to learn anything.

One of the first, huh? I haven't tried using any powers yet, so I don't know what I can do, but if it takes months to learn things... Maybe it's good that I don't know how to do anything yet.

Aside from turning into some animals.

I bet you'll learn everything eventually! What season are you? They're all really good options.

Eventually. I'm Autumn. What about you?

I'm Summer! Autumn's got a lot of nice people in it. And their earth powers are cool! They can talk to your mind too, that part's really exciting!

What sort of powers does Summer have? Do you know a lot of people in Autumn? Having them talk to your mind might be interesting.

[hopefully it's not like when gwi-ma is taunting him constantly. that's one thing he's not going to miss.]

Yeah, lots of people! Oh, Summer's powers are fire, light, and shapeshifting! And rot. I have to use that one a lot to fix food that expired in the fridge because I forgot about it.

Fire, light and shapeshifting, huh? Those all sound interesting, too. You use rot to help you fix food? It doesn't sound like something that would fix anything.

Yeah! There's a skill to rot things, and a skill to un-rot things. I learned the other one first 'cause it was more useful.

How often are you forgetting food that you have to constantly unrot it? Maybe you should have less perishable food.

I can't help it! Once it's in the fridge, it's like it doesn't exist anymore!

Maybe you could leave notes to remind yourself that you have food in there?

Or I guess you can just continue to unrot it.

It never tastes as good fixed as it does new... But I tried notes and they don't work. It's like food has a mysterious brainwashing power to erase your memories!

I sure hope not. If food could erase memories, it would be difficult to eat.

That's true. You wouldn't be able to do anything! So I guess it's something else.

Probably not because you would be forgetting everything from eating. Who knows what else it could be, though.

I dunno. I'm still learning, I guess. But! Are you having fun in Ellipsa so far? It's a really exciting place! And we're almost done rebuilding the city after that whole thing back in May!

Fun is a relative word. Exciting is a bit better, as it's a new world to experience. Rebuilding from what? What happened back in May?

Prison break, vampires, evil guys blocking out the sun, riots, that kinda stuff.
