Hi.

I realize that it's been a couple of months since I've been here, based on the date I've seen on calendars.

Seems like I "left".

I know it's common to leave, return to your home world and come back, right?

But the thing is that the freshest memory isn't of my home world. In fact, I don't recall going back at all. That's not normal, is it?

Anyway, I wanted to also apologize -- I was the one who suggested making a community for those who were technologically inclined, but then disappeared.

I don't know if anyone who's still here recognizes this username at all, but for those who don't: I'm Inaba, a normal girl who's just graduated high school and has some expertise in computers, so if you ever need any help on the technology front, I can assist a little.

Also, if anyone can give me a 6 month recap, please do.

I've been trying to put the technology club together, but I find myself constantly struggle with actually 'leading' it. But the idea is still living on, at least, and there's plenty of interest.

Honestly, it's much appreciated.

If I actually stay for a bit, I can help with leading and organization; I was the vice president for clubs in the past, not to mention helped run meetings during "murder game" bullshit.

The same happened to me when I went home. Nothing at all happened - it's like I wasn't even really gone, even if I was.

The biggest thing that you might have noticed around town is that the criminals in Nightwake made an elaborate scheme to attack the city. They even managed to cover up the sky to block the sun and moon. As a result quite a few of us were even turned into vampires.

I think some places still struggle with their technology, so your help might be needed. It was a huge blackout, after all, and we've mostly been dealing with repairing places.

I'll have to see what I can do once I get resettled in; I assume all my stuff from before is gone by now.

I should be okay for the most part, but getting money to move out of the apartments is gonna be rough.

But essentially, yes, it is like time travel.

Huh... You missed vampires and a prison riot and a regular riot, but that was all pretty scary, so I guess that makes you really lucky.

Yeah, it really scared everyone. A lot of people got hurt, too... But the city's safe again now! Except some people got turned into vampires or got really hurt, and we've been rebuilding the city and stuff. That was almost two months ago, so we've been fixing a lot.

hi inaba-san. i'm izuku. or, i guess, midoriya is my surname. i don't know that i can recap much for you since i only got here a bit ago myself and i've been focused on settling in. but i know a bit about technology? i mean. my world was fairly modern? so. if others who aren't as familiar need help or something. i don't mind.

Honestly, helping others with the tech here would be a thing that could be done for the Welcome Center. Not everyone who arrives here is familiar with this level of technology, after all, so having people to teach them would actually be useful.

The tech-based group was going to be open to everyone of all levels in the first place, especially those who would also be willing to learn more, since it isn't as if I can be everywhere all at once hacking into every system that we end up finding.

yeah, with so many people from different worlds and i guess times? it makes sense that some might not be as familiar as us with this sort of thing. i don't mind at least helping them figure out some basics if they need a hand.
