Since a lot of people have posted games on here to get to know each other I propose we do...the word association game! It's really simple and fun! All you have to do is say a word and people reply with whatever they associate with it. Sounds fun, right?!
If that's too easy though another way to play it is by saying words that begin with the last letter of the initial word. So for example I'll say ice cream and then you would have to pick a word that starts with M that you associate with ice cream, like milk! And so on and so forth.
Anyway, if you want to play with each other feel free, otherwise I'm up for a challenge! (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑
The whole point is to have fun so I'll start us off!! The first word is Ocean!

im so sorry he types like this LMAO
please tell me you don't put ketchup on pizza.
anyway
anchovies
and no louisiana isn't ALL marsh
mostly just near the coast and around the bayou
you got your swamps and lakes and marshes and whatever
big rivers cutting through shit
then wherever it isn't wet you get your grassland
gets pretty hot gets a lotta storms
but it's gorgeous
prettiest place you'd lay your goddamn eyes on.
big big trees with their hanging leaves and mosses
water like mirrors and tall tall grasses
lots of plants and animals you can't see anywhere else
and the people
i'd be talking for hours if i talked about the people
so i'll spare you that.
maybe find you a book on it or something.
no it's great
Salty
It sounds really beautiful...I wouldn't mind drawing a place like that. Do you think the library would have a book on that place specifically?! I've been trying to read everything I can about Earth since so many people are from there!
But...I wouldn't mind listening if you ever wanted to talk. I like hearing about people's worlds I...never really got out much even in my own world when I was little. So I enjoy it when people tell me about theirs and all the things they've seen!
i hope so considering it makes his responses HUGE lmlgkjh
i GUESS i can let that pass.
as for salty
how about "yellow"?
lots of good salty foods are yellow
flawless logic i know
[AKA, he can't think of a damn thing otherwise.]
i've got no idea if the library has books on louisiana specifically
but if you were able to read about it in a book you got there
so i don't see why they WOULDN'T have something.
and besides
talking about it wouldn't do shit
if you didn't have the pictures to back it up.
i mean
how am i supposed to describe the sheer joie de vivre of the folks there
without you getting to see any of it at all?
no subject
Joie de vivre? What's that? There are a lot of new words you're typing. I'm guessing people there speak a different language then?
no subject
it's french.
here lemme fire up my mic
well no wait
soup.
for wontons i mean.
we need to stop picking words that end in S and P
anyway, loading up my mic
some of this is hard to get across written down.
[Mostly because of pronunciation, of course. He'd hate to teach Shigeru all these new words and phrases, yet leave him out saying shit like "joyee de vihver".
He's already done that to others plenty, Shigeru needs to be spared.
(He'll remember Shigeru's mute someday.)]
"Joie de vivre" is... it's an enjoyment of life, kinda. Just the state of lovin' bein' alive. If you got some joie to you, then you love life and love livin' it.
Not just the good days, either. Bad days, too.
Life ain't life if you don't live the bad days.
As a good example of what this kinda thing means... someone like Nenonen is a prime example of joie de vivre. If you know'em well enough, then I got no doubts you gonna understand 'zactly what I mean by that.

I definitely do! They're very...carefree, relaxed, and just live life day-to-day. It's not a bad philosophy to have, really, I can imagine the lack of stress one would have if they lived by your joi de vivre. Maybe I'll take up a similar way of living myself!
[ He definitely won't, he's too anxious and a hot mess for that. ]
