Did you miss the week, when everyone was singing all around the place?

[NOT literally everyone, maybe, but stiiiiiill.]

I think I've been gone for at least several weeks, so I definitely missed that, yes.

Too bad, that would have been the perfect time for your Saja Boys audition.

Um, admittedly I was busy with a lot of things, so what's the last thing you remember? Any idea when you disappeared or "disappeared" or whatever? Ice skating rinks literally everywhere in December? Christmas? New Year?

[She should KNOW, or at least she feels like she should know, but she was busy...]

. . . Ah. Um I think the very beginning of December. [ he pauses ] Not all that much after I'd been playing my violin on the apartment rooftop.

[She's trying not to laugh too much at that reaction.]

Not a real thing, the audition, I mean, but there really was singing and dancing everywhere.

December! Wow, that was a bit ago... Let's see... Fairy circles everywhere, that took everyone who stepped on them to the Fairy Kingdom. Then there was Christmas - well, they call it Yuletide here - decorations all over Ellipsa and fairy bunnies getting so excited about all the mistletoes around here, that they started flying around with the mistletoes and tried to get anyone, that they saw together them under them, so not just couples but anyone who happened to be together anywhere for any reason -- or just randomly teleported anyone to anyone else because those bunnies were really, really determined and excited to get people under mistletoes.

[What about the toads part? Maybe she'll tell about that later, or someone else can tell about that.]

Oh, and there were food stalls everywhere but Frostreign also had a Winter Market and then there were ice skating rinks literally in every district. That was fun, ice skating everywhere. They might still be there for a little while, both the market and the rinks, I haven't checked recently.

[Wow, at least some general updating about the place instead of... Everything, that she's been doing.]

And who says I would be singing and dancing, myself?

[ Similarly amused. ]

Flying bunnies carrying mistletoe. [ . . . ] Sure, I guess I can work with that.

[ No. He cannot. At least not entirely. Mostly since he kind of is still new-ish; he's learned a lot since arriving, but also, well- disappearing will have that effect ].

It does sound like it was enjoyable, otherwise.

No one, it was magic, so who knows maybe you would have... Even if mostly no one also could tell any difference from me or others, who do all those things all the time anyway.

[And she's glad he's amused by it.]

They're really cute and always around here somewhere. They love treats, especially dandelions and they also love cuddling on shoulders or anywhere else.

[So you know, adorable company whether their love for mistletoes is understandable or not... Just in case he'll see them sooner or later.]

Yeah... Most of December was pretty great. Been a while since I had had any time for ice skating anywhere.

Maybe I'll keep an eye out for them, then. They do sound cute.

Yeah? Was your skating part of your hunter training in some way too? Also it's always possible to go ice skating in Frostreign since it's always winter there.

In ways. I lived in a pretty northern area growing up. My parents, or our mentor, would sometimes take Ichiru and I out on one of the frozen ponds. It wasn't especially often; Ichiru would always tire especially quickly.

[ And while he did rather enjoy skating, Zero didn't always like feeling like he was being selfish. ]

I've gone a number of times with my girls, though.

[She nods as she listens, it's like a slow and long nod.]

Mine's was part of "anything can happen anywhere" training thing, though I guess figure skating or dancing on ice makes sense for idols in general too.

[And that'd probably make more sense than jumping from planes while singing... Wild training. Anyway, speaking of being selfish, while she is selfishly really, really glad that he's here...]

That sounds adorable. I'm sorry you didn't get to go home back to your family.

[Like... In Bobby's case? Sure, she wishes he was here but he's more safe back home whenever dangerous stuff happens here. And Zero would seriously deserve to go back, she'd be happy for that too. Sad that he wouldn't be here anymore but still glad he'd be home with them.]

Uh... I kind of went into a coma after an evil fairy took over my friend's body and made everyone sing. But then it all got better! And then they were doing mecha testing again, and they went into the Darkness, and I guess the Scientist was there, but they didn't catch her. But now it seems fine? I think that's all the important stuff.

[ Jesus. Where to begin with all of that— ]

There's probably more, but life kinda gets like that.

It sounds like you're saying that's just the usual here.
