[A post made the other day has the Goat wondering something, well... Also it's been a while since the deal was made and now they're thinking on it and they just have to ask.]

How long is too long for one to hold a favour over one's head?

Or does one put a time limit on such quests here?

[Back home there was a limit! Things had to be done quickly or people lose faith!!!]

From what I know, it depends on the deal with the favour. For some, they may have an expiration date. But others, if no such time was negotiated, are timeless and have no such limit.

Ugh, no such thing was discussed. I had hoped it would be done by now though.

Then likely it has no time limit. Favour owed until it is repaid. Unless you can find a loophole.

How unfortunate but also fortunate, that the one who holds the favour appears to have left this world for a time.

Then it seems you have been gifted a reprieve. Though how long that will last is temporary.

For that time, you are free. At the very least.

That is one way of looking at it.

Will that be the way you choose to look at it?

Perhaps, or just find it another delay and thus an annoyance.

Did you have them sign a contract?

Depends on the person and the favour I guess.

If you're waiting on something you might have to ask them for a timeframe.
