Name's Squall. I'm looking for people to spar with. Either without weapons or with them.

Sorry 'bout that. Maru gets excited when she hears E-G-G-S. [ Anyway! ] Anyway, ta answer yer stuff. I'd be willin' ta help ya spar, I'm also a Summer, and a slightly experienced one at that. Also, totally normal ta get one in a basket. Maru came from one, too.

I appreciate it, though. I heard the Dayrise Coliseum is a good place to spar? Or the guilds.

Sometimes other types of creatures come outta 'em, since they're not normal birds, they're Pokemon.

[ Maru quacks at the word 'Pokemon' excitedly. ]

I ain't been to Dayrise Coliseum, but I've sparred once with someone at the guild.

I'll gladly spar anytime. With or without weapons, I can summon a sword though it's not my only weapon, and I'm a Summer too, though I've been here since July.

And yes, that's totally normal and pretty common here. I got one before Christmas too.

I've been here since January, so I'm really new. We can try different sparring ways.

Yeah! One of the all kinds of different creatures called Pokemon will hatch from it. Mine-- [something mostly yellow jumps to her lap.] Is this one.

[Tiime to make sure she's on screen too before she cheerfully introduces herself as "Pikachu!" with a wag from her heart tail but also by raising one of her tiny front paws to the air.]

Not really, at least not when it's just with or without weapons since it's good to train those skills anywhere and everywhere. But if it's summer powers, maybe Coliseum at Dayrise would be the best option for that since that's the usual place for training local magic, I think.

[Even when she's a summer too which could make it better or worse to train them anywhere else.]

Yeah, well, um, Pokemon can really be anything and they all come from eggs, so lots of "not what I expected" happening there or from just seeing them.

Yes the egg thing is pretty normal, good luck guessing what's going to hatch out of it however, I got a mouse and my friend got a raccoon that grew up into a really big ferret.

[He sighs. This was going to be weird.]

I know! [ Dick laughs ] They don't come from eggs where I come either but apparently they do here.

[ He turns to look at something of screen. ]

Bunny come here for a moment will you?

[ And sure enough a little Dedenne runs up Dick's arm and sits on his shoulder so Squall can look at her. She waves at him.]

[Makes sense for a small creature to come out of an egg, he supposes. At least something to make sense of this. ]

For a mouse it seems comfortable with you.
