Well, have you been told about the dangers in the segments? There are books in the library that also go over the entire history of this place to a certain point in time if that's something you're interested in.

And I'm not concerned about any dangers. I am a dragon. I'm powerful enough to handle any sort of creature.

Aren't they the same thing? Allies help you when you need it most, like friends, you know? [ But maybe that's just his way of thinking...]

Wait. You're a DRAGON?! That's amazing! 😱 I think you're one of the few dragons I've met here that holds a human form. Does your device change shape when you do?! I can't imagine typing on one of these things when you're that size. They're not very user-friendly in that way...unless you got a dragon-sized one too? 🤔

Allies share a common goal and not much else. Friends requires more commonality.

And I do not know the answer to your questions. I have only just arrived and have yet to test these things.

Yeah but the trials and battles you go through with allies basically make them friends. Since you have a common goal in mind. [ Shigeru thinks they're the same thing, but to each their own. ]

Well allies or friends, they're willing to help you out and that's what matters the most!

That is a bold assumption. I doubt my allies care all that much as long as I give them what they need. And that is fine.

Have you ever asked them? How do they feel, I mean? You might think one thing but the truth is entirely different.

I don't know?! I was just curious because this place is really strange. Size-changing devices wouldn't be too farfetched...but also I feel like it's pretty rude not to have that for people who are bigger or...dragons?! But also the dragons in my world aren't exactly nice. Meeting one and talking to one up close is really amazing to me.

Perhaps. But I don't feel it's right to put them on the spot.

I suppose that is true. Getting to learn the strange things of other worlds is a gift. I never thought of that applied to dragons, though I know they are upheld in many places.

Dragons aren't...the best in my world. I mean there are some that are good but most of them are evil or corrupted by the remnants of the dark god. I think they were good once, though, having helped fight the dark god in the past. That's probably why they were cursed into what they are today.

All the ones I've met here have been nothing but nice, though. It's a little strange to see but I'm getting used to it.

You are not wrong. I will not longer repeat the actions of the past, when I was bad. There is safety in that.

But you should look after yourself first and foremost. No thought needs to be spared in my case.
