Greetings. I am a new arrival to this world. I will assist to the best of my ability.

However, I must ask . . . is it true that we must be . . . touching? What does that mean? What level of touch is acceptable?

Are there tiers of touch? Surely, someone must have worked out a system.

What is it you expect dragons to be, then?

I don't know, they're just...dragons, doing whatever it is dragons do? I never heard of a dragon that spends all that much time with mortals to begin with.

I suppose we do not, in theory. But there are not so many of us to be so discriminatory.

No. We may imitate people to some degree and share some similarities, but we are dragons.

Oh, I see. Kind of like the gods back home.

Perhaps. We are often revered as such.

That makes sense. Some gods back home are also dragons, though I personally don't pray to any of them or haven't met one. And there are many gods that are person-shaped and act very much like people, but ultimately aren't the same as them.

I imagine there are all kinds of varieties across the worlds. I am aware.

Why would they? Gods only matter when they interfere in people's lives.

I suppose it can be a struggle to grasp.

We've always known the existence of other worlds. We've called upon powers to support us, much like the way this place does.

How'd you guys found out about other worlds? If I may ask.

There were a number of proofs. For one, my father Sombron was well aware of other worlds and explained it to us.

We also possessed certain bracelets called Emblems — powerful heroes who hailed from other realities and whose powers we could tap into.
