[Diluc is currently working out of his and Kaeya's coffee shop in Sunwaning. The bakery counter behind him is stocked with some breads and cakes from local bakers - currently half empty thanks to sales - and the coffee machine is lightly steaming its way through a cleaning cycle.
The redhead has his hair up, and looks fairly at ease.]
I'm taking a moment to remind everyone that we are happy to display and sell the produce of any bakers and pastry chefs here. Barring the small commission taken to power the cabinet all profits will be yours for any sales made.
[Because he is a business man but not a thief.]
That aside, I have noticed some new faces, so I am opening the floor again to suggestions for coffee blends, flavours, and any particular fruit juices that people might want to see here. Assuming I can get hold of the required ingredients, I have confidence in my abilities to mix anything to a customer's satisfaction.
[He looks about to speak again, then turns his head quickly as a distant bang and then the distinct sound of something glass breaking rings out.]
... Pardon me. [And, as he lowers the phone to hang up.] Kaeya, come and get your rabbit--!

Action
[Kaeya felt like he was drowning in paperwork because some of his excursions meant that they had piled up, so he had been in the back office catching up and making sure the books were in order when he heard both the glass breaking and Diluc's voice.
He groaned and debated on simply hiding out in the office, pretending he heard nothing, but the scurrying of little feet following by the source bouncing in meant that wasn't happening regardless.
Kaeya leaned over the arm of the chair and wiggled his fingers, the treasure rabbit pressing her face against his hand for a moment just before Kaeya scooped her up and deposited her on his lap. He started scritching behind the long, lop ears.]
Now, what did you break this time, Miss Mora?
no subject
If you coddle her like that she's going to think she didn't do anything wrong.
[How does one properly discipline a magical rabbit? Something he's still trying to figure out, honestly.]
no subject
How can you be mad at this face?
[Not that Diluc was wrong but indeed, how do you discipline a magical rabbit? Or any rabbit, to be honest. Kaeya never had one as a pet.]
no subject
I can be equally mad with both of you, if you have a mind to share the load.
[This is a threat, though not much of one - he's rarely actually anything more than exasperated with Kaeya these days.]
no subject
[Not a challenge, just a simple eyebrow raise as he set Mora on the desk, smoothing out her soft coat for a moment.]
I guess I can leave her at home...
[He didn't really want to.]
no subject
He'll even give Mora a pet while she's standing on the desk. It really is difficult to be mad at her.]
So she can cause chaos while entirely unmonitored? [Shaking his head.] And you'd only be thinking about her all the time you're here.
no subject
Kaeya keeps a careful hold of her belly as she stays standing for those pets.]
They do have rabbit cages. I could make a little play area for her.
[It definitely wouldn't stop him worrying about her, though! Maybe they needed another animal to keep her company...]
no subject
We probably don't need a cage, just an enclosure and something to keep her occupied and away from the glassware.
[P l e a s e .]
She's obviously intelligent.

And curious. [If all the glass breakage is anything to go by.] Should we use my old apartment, then?

... This might be a bit of a reach, but... have you anything called Hollyberry juice?
no subject
I'm not familiar with the name - can the ingredients be found here?
no subject
But, regardless, it means for now the answer is no. Disappointing, but not a surprise - it appears many worlds are so radically different from my own.

And... if you guys need anything out in the spring segment I can bring them in for you next time I come by so you don't have to make any special trips.

Squint.]
You're being suspiciously helpful.

[ He's still doing it. It's okay that Diluc can read him like a book. ]
