Hello, again.

Last time I voiced something on here it was regarding information I found on the past of this world. I'm still trying to uncover more, but I have started assembling information pamphlets for those that arrive and would like a deeper understanding of the world we're in with what I have already.

On that note, I've managed to acquire a job at the government here with the title 'Otherworldy Ambassador'. Granted, it is not as fancy as it may seem. I'm merely working on a proposition that will aid all of us in these new circumstances, along with the citizens here who are dealing with the changes. I have gathered support from Olwen for this, if only because he understands there is more needed to ensuring people's safety after they are brought here.

I'm reaching out here today to see if there is any interest in helping in any form. While I cannot promise paid jobs right away, I will say there are means we can use to work with the government for extra posts, if anyone is interested. Otherwise, I seek collaboration with anyone wishing to set up a business or charity that may be related to this. I'm considering aspects such as combat, strategy, supply line management and other logistics, counselling... as you can see, there is likely something that may be helpful for most. Of course, this is not the only route nor am I likely the only person trying to work towards something like this, I'm merely offering my expertise if anyone should wish to use it. It's still a work in progress, after all, with hopefully an office or a meeting point ready to be used next month.

No, but I'm slowly becoming jealous that there seem to be a lot of worlds that do. But "isn't quite the same"?

'Hatsu' seems like it would be best as a name on its own rather than a nickname, which isn't a bad thing. Hmm. I imagine something like 'Topper' might cause its own problems.

Only those who have been gifted a 'vision' from an archon have the ability to wield that element. It's a lot more selective than here.

And that certainly seems like it would raise a few eyebrows, indeed. Perhaps not one for a professional environment...

Archon? I see. Are the elements that those with a 'vision' wield dependent on what they 'see' or is it a choice?

But, no. I definitely do not think it would be suitable in a professional environment or even polite company. Unless that company is extremely open and understanding.

'God' may be a term you are familiar with. And a vision isn't what it implies, each vision is specific to whichever archon blessed the user. For example, as a hydro vision holder I can use the element of water.

From my experience that doesn't tend to happen.

I'm familiar with the concepts of 'God' but I don't believe in them. However, I've learned that there are worlds where gods have been proven to be real so this is fascinating. You must be pretty special or lucky to have received such a blessing.

And I have the same experience. I wouldn't mind it myself, but I know I'm in the minority.

I don't think it is that they specifically choose, perhaps it's more accurate to say a certain ambition has to be realised and it sparks a response? Though I couldn't say I'm an expert either.

My apologies then. Your Archons are certainly interesting when it comes to bestowing their blessings on people. I suppose these ambitions don't necessarily have to be noble by general standards.

But you're only marginally correct. The people who I associate with aren't exactly the most normal to begin with, so a nickname or even a name like 'Topper' wouldn't be too strange.

I couldn't say. I only know of a handful of them myself, it isn't as though everyone tells each other why it appeared to them.

But I see. I can see the reasoning of that.

No? I suppose it would be a difficult topic to speak about or, at the very least, perhaps a personal one.

And I view things from the perspective that what someone goes by isn't as important as the work that they're able to do for you.

Most of the time it is. Some ambitions people have in life are fairly impersonal, but for many they are.

That's the better way of looking at things, sadly society doesn't always allow it.

Perhaps not, but there is no reason why it can't. Society is not stagnant or unchanging.

Do you mean in the literal sense as where we are today or more of the spiritual sense of where we are back in our home worlds?

I doubt this world is quite as restrictive, so the worlds we are from, yes.

Let's hope that is the case, but why would you say that about your world? You don't believe it is capable of change?

It's a slow process, after years of being stagnant.

But things are moving? There are some changes that shouldn't be done quickly.

They are again now. Some changes may take generations before they have a chance to happen though, I'm aware.

Well, if drastic measures may even be helpful with the changes that you'd like to see.

You shouldn't have any shame for that. It's rare to find someone who is willing to pay for that cost.

I don't. And in actuality I'm not even certain if that plan could work. I'm not the kind of person to take that level of risk. I'd much rather plan for certainty.

Then you and I differ in that way. I plan for what is possible, but I'm someone who takes matters into my own hands where needed.

Perhaps you misunderstood my meaning, what you describe is what I mean by planning for certainty. If all other possibilities are eradicated ahead of time, certainty is all that lies ahead.

My apologies for the misunderstanding. Though, I don't think my response changes too much. The situations that I find myself in often come with the unexpected.
