Hello, again.

Last time I voiced something on here it was regarding information I found on the past of this world. I'm still trying to uncover more, but I have started assembling information pamphlets for those that arrive and would like a deeper understanding of the world we're in with what I have already.

On that note, I've managed to acquire a job at the government here with the title 'Otherworldy Ambassador'. Granted, it is not as fancy as it may seem. I'm merely working on a proposition that will aid all of us in these new circumstances, along with the citizens here who are dealing with the changes. I have gathered support from Olwen for this, if only because he understands there is more needed to ensuring people's safety after they are brought here.

I'm reaching out here today to see if there is any interest in helping in any form. While I cannot promise paid jobs right away, I will say there are means we can use to work with the government for extra posts, if anyone is interested. Otherwise, I seek collaboration with anyone wishing to set up a business or charity that may be related to this. I'm considering aspects such as combat, strategy, supply line management and other logistics, counselling... as you can see, there is likely something that may be helpful for most. Of course, this is not the only route nor am I likely the only person trying to work towards something like this, I'm merely offering my expertise if anyone should wish to use it. It's still a work in progress, after all, with hopefully an office or a meeting point ready to be used next month.

This is precisely why I made a point that it would be beneficial if those untrained in combat look at other aspects as well. Especially any that couldn't take how taxing on the body combat can be. There's a lot less risk in other areas, too.

Besides, as you said, doctors and healers are what keep combatants alive and well, they are most crucial.

Perhaps I could also aid in giving basic first aid training to those who want to learn to help others. I can't claim to be the most experienced teacher, but I am confident in my ability to do so.

Oh? That would be incredibly helpful and would likely take some of the burden off you and any other experienced doctors. That way you can focus on anything more serious.

Indeed. It would certainly make getting treatment quicker in more dangerous situations, rather than waiting until they get back to the city as well.

Hmm, while I'd agree, most of the segments are rather far. Anyone heading into serious danger would be out of reach if you are based in the city. Perhaps giving training to staff on the airships would help?

That would certainly help. The airship circle in and our of segments regularly and they have staff that could focus on medical aid. And I could easily discuss it with the ones in charge of the airships, since they're near here.

Agreed. Besides, since most of the quests take place further out, it may put people in danger if they have to wait to return to the city. Things like infections could take hold within that time, correct?

That is definitely true. It's an important thing to consider. In many cases, getting to the airship stations is faster than going back to the city.

Exactly. And I suppose an airship may not always be there when you arrive, so it would need to fall to staff at the station itself.

As far as I'm aware, all of the airships stations on segments are only inhabited by an old lady with cats... I wonder if an additional building for medical staff would be a good idea to build there? Since the area around the station is generally safe.

I think that would be a good idea for some of us to look into. I'm not sure the logistics of it, but it may be worth spending time and resources for.

I'll bring it up with the Research Staff next time we have a meeting.
