{ yet again, when ayato turns on the camera to do an announcement, he's only half in the screen. part of his face is concealed, just about showing the lower half of his face, shoulders and chest. sadly he's willing to recognise that while he could just type this out, it would take him an awfully long time and while he could just do voice, it doesn't grab attention in the same way.

Hello, again.

Last time I voiced something on here it was regarding information I found on the past of this world. I'm still trying to uncover more, but I have started assembling information pamphlets for those that arrive and would like a deeper understanding of the world we're in with what I have already.

On that note, I've managed to acquire a job at the government here with the title 'Otherworldy Ambassador'. Granted, it is not as fancy as it may seem. I'm merely working on a proposition that will aid all of us in these new circumstances, along with the citizens here who are dealing with the changes. I have gathered support from Olwen for this, if only because he understands there is more needed to ensuring people's safety after they are brought here.

I'm reaching out here today to see if there is any interest in helping in any form. While I cannot promise paid jobs right away, I will say there are means we can use to work with the government for extra posts, if anyone is interested. Otherwise, I seek collaboration with anyone wishing to set up a business or charity that may be related to this. I'm considering aspects such as combat, strategy, supply line management and other logistics, counselling... as you can see, there is likely something that may be helpful for most. Of course, this is not the only route nor am I likely the only person trying to work towards something like this, I'm merely offering my expertise if anyone should wish to use it. It's still a work in progress, after all, with hopefully an office or a meeting point ready to be used next month.

It's very possible, that or most are just hoping for someone like them to take the lead instead of the four seasonal power holders here. I couldn't say.

Just because I am not fond of something does not mean I incapable. Speaking with other officials is part of my role back home, though if I can avoid a public appearance I would take it.

[She has no doubt as to the first thing he says. Guizhong has noted no small amount of distrust directed at those calling themselves 'power holders' and she holds a little of that herself... and blames no one for any anger or resentment they might feel. Looking to someone like them to take some kind of lead seems more than reasonable.

But she smiles in return, still quietly appraising him as he speaks to her.]

How do you find that you fare talking to people who are not other officials? Will you find yourself needing a go-between in your business here as well?

{ he's one of them, despite constantly harassing olwen for information, he fully expects they aren't being told everything. and ayato is used to having information, he's used to being able to send people he can trust to find out more. having to do all the footwork himself is proving to be exhausting. }

The same applies. If I could do all this from my desk, I would. { he sighs. } I will take your words into consideration, however, and try to get used to it for now. It is a rather different situation here, after all.

[That it's an unusual situation, that is. Putting all of their differences aside she is sure that very few of them could have expected to be whisked away to a place like this and given a task that was so weighty.]

Indeed. Though yes, I do. While I may require more assistance overall, I have people to turn to for support as well.

[As he shows his face fully she straightens up and smiles at him, giving a small nod of approval.]

There, now. What a handsome young man you are, and so much easier to speak with when I can look you in the eye.

[Her own sparkle with mischief, but there is a wisdom there too.]

{ he keeps his gaze head on, but there's a slight tension to his disposition as he stays with the camera pointed at himself. at least for a brief moment, before he sighs out and settles.

[And what a lovely speech it was, if a little overdone in places. He might surely benefit from having someone around who is more accustomed to speaking to the common people more directly.

All in all, though, he said what needed to be said. It would not be for her to push him towards something he did not find necessary.]

But you have me quite curious about the kind of work you do on your home world.

{ he nods at her first response, though the second half has his head tilting for a moment, before he'll give the title step by step. }

I'm head of the Kamisato clan and Yashiro Commissioner in Inazuma. Fancy words for 'I serve the Raiden Shogun in whatever she may need'. My role is to work with the other two commissions, each of us have a sector we keep in order.

['Inazuma', she knows, but the rest of it... well, Guizhong had never travelled to Inazuma herself. She's curious by nature though, and so she asks the first question that comes to the front of her mind.]

Who is the Raiden Shogun?

[In her time, of course, with the Archon War still ongoing... little information came from the isolated island region of Inazuma. Every nation had their own concerns when it came to the fight for Celestia's offered seats.]

The Electro Archon who governs over Inazuma. Hmm... I suppose I should explain what the Seven are where I'm from to make that a little clearer. The closest thing people here have most likely heard that is relatable is having our nation's gods with us.

{ he seems to go in thought over how much to share, sometimes it can be a little too much of an overshare when really her interest originally had been in what he does. }

In this case, I work with others to ensure her will is carried out.

[She gives one hand a little flap.]

I know who the Seven are... at least, I'm aware of the concept.

[And she knows... a couple of them? Guizhong smiles and shrugs one of her shoulders, then she shakes her head.]

But it seems to me that the Raiden Shogun is fortunate to have someone so competent working for her interests.

Oh, I see. Then I apologise for assuming. At least I hadn't gone into great detail.

I do my best, I'm not sure how far that takes me however.

{ because if anything, being humble about it here is likely going to be better than saying no one is better fitting at the moment to take that position. besides, he likely wouldn't admit that to many people. he has confidence he's doing the right thing, but it isn't natural to him--he's had to work hard to get to where he is today. }

[To be fair to him... she had not, and she still doesn't even as she states she has familiarity with what he's talking about. It's something she could have learned by speaking to anyone from Teyvat, after all.]

And since you have prior experience of dealing with other sections of government that need to be kept in balance, it sounds to me that you are well-placed.

It's what I'm used to, anyone with prior experience could likely do the same. It's precisely why I aimed for something similar here. The Yashiro Commission is responsible for helping people with requests, trying to work with the locals and strengthen relations seemed like a reasonable step to take.

Anyone with prior experience might be able to, but not everyone would.

[She's definitely not here to downplay the importance of what he's doing. He's stepping up in a way that few people would be willing to even if they could.]

But if you find that you'd like some help with anything... I would be happy to lend you my own expertise in dealing with people.

I... can't deny that. It is partly why I finally decided to do so.
