[Video] How many years until its a tradition? Three?

Heeeey everybody!

Its been a year since the flags, so you know what? Flag time again!

[He's off screen, a brief picture of a living room, and then there's a flash of color and he's back in frame with a whole bunch of pride flags hang in the wall and couch.]

It was kind of fun making and spreading them around last year, so feel free to ask for specific ones, or just find it in the wild, one of those.

And since it seems it helped inform people about stuff last year, this post is open for discussion! Comments, questions, what is with all these flags, what is LGBTQIA+? In even more lay terms, stuff about gender, romance, and, uh, physical attraction.

I will not be getting into the weeds about physical attraction, but other people are free to talk about it. Though try to keep it PG-13 okay?

What is the difference between bisexual and pansexual, anyway?

I've been wondering that too. Like as far as I can tell, its like...the approaching angle?

Like, 'I like all genders' versus 'I don't care about gender'?

Yeah! Like...

There are people who like pizza. Now a person can like ALL the toppings that can come on a pizza, but like they're gonna prefer certain things going together on the pizza, or certain toppings. And then there are people who can be given a pizza and will be about the same amount of happy no matter what toppings are on it.

That sort of thing, I THINK.

So... you're bisexual if you like all genders but you have a preference?

A preference about certain gender characteristics. That's the toppings.

I don't know for sure, but that's where I think its going?

Oh, okay. ...I guess I'm bi then? I appreciate it when my partners are much bigger than me, and for humans that's a guy thing...

Actually, this is harder when some things are gender characteristics in certain species and not others. Any dragon is going to be bigger than me no matter what their gender.

So maybe its like certain traits on certain genders?

Like you like tall guys, but girls you want to pick up and it just hits different the opposite way.

No, that's not what I meant - I like being picked up by tall girls too, it's just that six foot tall human women are rarer.

Pansexuals, like myself, will have "fun" with anyone. Or anything, in my case.

Bisexuals are kiiinda the same but not. Hard to explain. Like...oh! My idea of fun and being attracted to someone for fun gender does not come into it. Like at all.

Where Bisexuals gender does. They like men and women and they like men and women for different things and reasons. We still all have fun with each other we just see the parts either differently or not really at all.

I mean I'll have fun with anyone who is down to clown. Buuut I've grown attached to certain parts on people before. And people too for that matter.

To me, sexy is just sexy when I see it and I see lots of sexy.

Can I come get a pan pride flag? Ooooh and some parades do these like tassel wants now too. Should look into those. They're pretty dope.

Don't go into things it's generally agreed upon that young teen kids shouldn't be hearing. Like SOME stuff is okay because puberty and hormones are coming and they should have some idea, but whatever those guys in leather at the parade are doing at home seems like a no.

Anyway, it's just a comfort thing. This stuff can be a lot. I'm almost seventeen which I THINK is close to adult for my species, but also I didn't get exposed to a lot of this stuff cause I was on an alien planet most of my life so literally all of it seemed a non option and then suddenly there WERE options, but it's a lot so I think anybody younger would get overwhelmed easy.

So better if everyone is being mindful of how much they infodump.

Kinda! People are comfortable doing things at home they wouldn't at work. Like Tom isn't gonna give Maddie more than a peck when he's picking us up after check ups, but they're all AFFECTIONATE at home.

But yeah, it's about avoiding making people uncomfortable. Or at least too uncomfortable. Stuff is a lot when it's new and I think people had some gay awakenings a little bit last year. I had a crush awakening last year. I just wanted to share flags since I was making them to support alter me and his boyfriend already and questions led to many realizations.

I mean there are other Sinners here who can tell you about it. My boss, the Radio Demon, I mean even the King and Princess of Hell are here too. They run a fancy hotel.

Do you curl up into a ball when you get all embarrassed?

I dunno about sin, but if you steal, it is causing some harm. But if you're like starving or dying, you're being harmed and that's a worse harm than the person losing money. All about harm balance when you do bad things. Stealing stuff people throws away is always morally right even if the law is dumb about it though.

A hotel? Not even like a casino? Hotel doesn't have a lot of sin stuff happening.

What is a hellborn?

I curl into a ball for many reasons, hedgehog things, but I see people try to do what I do when they're all awkward. They don't got the spine for it though.

I mean everything boils down to sin when you really think about it.

And yeah. Some hotel for becoming a better person or redemption or something. That's what I hear.

Seems like a good way to control people. It's like laws. Yeah, a lot of laws are good, but there's also a bunch made to protect things over people, that cause more harm than good.

Some cloud guy can take away your choice and your thinking and most people don't talk to the cloud guy so what if a cloud guy interpreter decides they want to lie? Then it's like the laws that make it illegal to sleep on the park bench without giving a shelter.

Seems a lot more important to just pay attention if your actions are hurting people and care about that.

I mean, yeah. That's how Heaven works. Be good, obey the rules, don't sin, don't go to Hell.

I mean you'd have to ask them but I think so. At least the Princess does. Redeem sinners and send them to Heaven and stop the extermination of sinners, stuff like that.

It can be? But like, Hell is still Hell. People suck. They get murdered and fight and have to make money and some people are poor and some have terrible families. Still. It's home. We Hellborn are born, raised, and eventually die in Hell. And that's it.

Some get to go to Earth for their jobs like the Succubuses and Incubuses. And I known some imps who goes up to kill humans for Sinners for money.

Never been to Earth before. Like not until I got here but this isn't Earth, it's Ellipsa. The E is the only thing they got in common, I think.

See, there's the problem of the cloud guy. People are like "oh, I didn't do what cloud guy says enough, I guess me hurting people doesn't matter" and then they think they can hurt people because the rules no longer apply.

People don't have to suck. And from what you've said, the stuff that sucks are the people going rules no longer apply, do whatever.

It's dumb and dangerous. Never put all your morals eggs in the guy with a bunch of power told me so because that guy is gonna either disappoint you or stab you in the back.

And then where are you?

No eggs and no ability to critically think about morals and then everything sucks because no one thinks about how a little restrain would mean everyone can live decently.

Don't complain to me, dude. Nothing I can do about it. You'd have to take that up with like Heaven itself. And the angels are jerks. Like come down and try to kill as many Sinners as they can kinda jerks.

I don't think most people care if other people live decently as long as they do. At least, that's how it feels back home. But not everyone is like a giant asshole about it. Buuut some people are the literal worst.

All I know is I keep my head down. I have fun. I get money and I keep the fun times going. And I make friends with big people. Best way to make sure your life doesn't go tits up is making the right connections.

Trust me on that.

Mileage varies on genocide, but I've already grappled with those as life experiences.

Also another ding for cloud guy! There is never a time it's GOOD to kill someone! Like sometimes it might be a necessary evil, rarely, but you can't go around calling people sinners and then commit what I'm pretty sure is the biggest sin! Like you can't have a guy tells you what is morally bad and then go against what they're telling you and still say you're good!

Connections don't do anything if you have something people want and they don't care about the harm they cause.

Most of those people have a cloud guy mentality of right and wrong.

A person cares.

Mobs don't.

You get enough people together, it's easy to get them to believe things have to be like this. Get someone alone, nine times out of ten you can find a way to convince them to be the kind person people are able to be.

Changing mobs is hard. That takes making friends and changing enough minds one at a time and then you can open up their eyes. But it takes actually trying.

You really sound like the Princess. You should go meet her. Bet she'd love to talk to you about all this...moral stuff.
