Hello, I'm Sun Wukong. A huntsman in training and not related to any kings, despite my name apparently being similar to someone titled a Monkey King. Trust me, I'm not even close to royalty. Or immortality.

That sure is a monkey tail that waves behind him - clearly attached to him. So he is a monkey, at least.]

This came up in a conversation a while back, but I am definitely curious about it.


If you had been given a chance to choose your season, which would you have chosen? Is it the one you have or something else? Do you feel like the season given to you fits you?


[But since it wouldn't be fair if he didn't answer it, too...]


My season is Summer, and I would have chosen it if I had been given a chance. I was born in a desert and my name is Sun, so what's more fitting than summer, really? The emotions that amplify our powers aren't really fitting to my person, but that's about the only thing that doesn't.

Do you also like it as a season, or is it purely just because it feels more you?

I do not possess any strong feelings for any season.

Really? Most people have a favorite season... but you're saying you don't?

I suppose I never really thought to consider it. Having feelings about seasons seems superfluous.

Maybe it is, but... superfluous things make life a bit more fun, don't you think?

They bring out flavors in people. Maybe you find more friends who like the same seasons as you do for the same reasons! That kind of stuff.

No. I suppose I've never had much reason to.

There's always a reason to relax. You can't go your whole life being all stiff and serious!

Mm... not really. Especially if you're satisfied with who you are, there's nothing wrong with it.

But I'm not sure . . . frivolity will help much.

It won't hurt either, though. So you could give it a try.

But at the same time, there's no pressure to do it.

How about playing a game? Like a video game. Those are fun, but definitely mostly frivolous.

They're these games you play on consoles or other platforms, usually through a tv screen. Completely virtual. Usually you just smash buttons, but lately there's been a lot of new ones where you can use your whole body to play.

And this is enjoyable?

Would not be preferable to play games as they are?
