[The camera turns on and Flynn is staring at someone off camera, frowning slightly before he looks back at the recording device. He opens his mouth to speak, then shuts it, and then finally he relaxes. He gives the camera a smile and a nod of acknowledgement]

I was told that this device can record me and put my words onto a network.

[Flynn gives a small wave.]

Consider this a practice round for me. I'm Flynn Scifo, and I hope to get along with everyone.

[He looks back over to whoever is off camera and cocks his head to the side.]

Is that good?

[The blond looks back at the camera and gives a sheepish grin.]

[ Venti saw the network post, of course. And though he may not have known Flynn well in Tokyo-F, he knows very much what this means for Yuri.

Venti drapes himself over the back of the couch, posture and expression light, but eyes very much boring into Yuri. ]

I'd ask you how you're feeling, but something tells me you're still sorting that out.

What kinds of events have happened to you all since coming here? Are we able to trust what we are being told?

[He won't make the same mistake again and put his blind trust into the powers that be. It nearly cost them everything.

Unfortunately, I can't state anything definitive on whether or not we can trust the people who brought us here. They seem relatively benign, that is, but that's hardly proof.

In terms of what events have transpired, those have largely consisted of the guilds opening, a spate of portals appearing and bringing in monsters intent upon attacking the city (they were repelled), and things like imps running loose and animating statues. There was also a peculiar rain that affected people's behavior, but that was effectively harmless.

Other events were driven by members of the otherworldly community and include an arts festival, pot luck, various businesses opening, and a maid café fundraiser. No doubt there will be others.

[He kind of pans up the camera and turns it away so he can show off where he's at to the other. He turns the camera back to himself.]

Are you okay? You haven't been pushing yourself have you?

[Well at least there's not something world ending happening at the moment. That's good. Hopefully something like that never happens. He thinks on the information.]

Community building isn't bad. But, I can't say that I'd want to see monsters attack the city.

Thank you for the information. I know I just arrived, but I don't want things to blindside me. I'm already blindsided enough.

She's got some sort of meat on a bone in her free hand of which she takes a bite of before speaking with her mouth full.]

Mmph... Hey, [She swallows and gestures at the camera with the meat.] So you're new around here, huh? This device is the least of the fucked up shit that goes on here. In any case, I'm Kainé. Allow me to be the first or fiftieth, whatever, person to welcome you.

[He shakes his head and smiles at Yuri, just happy to see him. For once, Flynn appears a little restless, and he looks, really looks at Yuri.]

Where are you?

[Flynn looks like he's ready to stand up and start moving. This place is new and he wants to check on Yuri personally, that's a given.]

Yeah, I've already met some really interesting people.

[He pauses and thinks about it for a moment.]

It just means being careful not to tread on toes for the moment. I'm sure things will feel a little better in no time. Though, if you have some advice in that area I would appreciate it.

Well, right now, at my — house. [ Half a beat. ] Which is a pretty crazy thing to say? Since when can I afford a whole house.

Oh. Good. I'm glad this went through.

[He's been receiving all sorts of messages and everyone's been so welcoming. He smiles back.]

It's nice to meet you Kenta. How long have you been here?

[So yeah. Flynn is immediately beat red in the face and he covers his mouth with his hand. He clears his throat, and shakes out his head as he focuses on something safe. So he's talking to her, but his cheeks are flushed but his voice is kind and he keeps his eyes on hers.]

It's nice to meet you Kaine. Can you tell me a little more about the messed up stuff that goes on here?

I don't know exactly what else to say to be honest.

[He tells her with a small smile.]

You have a house? Yuri that's wonderful!

[He is enthused for you, and he kind of rocks up in his seat like he's going to stand up, but then remember he has company with him. He settles back into his seat.]

How do I figure out how far you are from where I'm at?

Heh. I mean, not just mine, we all saved up for it.

I'm gonna send you a GPS ping. It'll look like a link, which... well, it's kind of hard to describe. Click on it, and it'll open your map app, which'll show you where I am. Okay?

[He listens and nods looking down at the device.]

[He will definitely need to take it easy on learning his device, but it can't be that hard, right?]

Hmm... Oh, I learned some dances! And I found out there's a lot of the same music and shows as there are at home! And some people here who are just like people off anime with the same name and everything and I'd probably get in trouble if I said that to them? And people who don't even know what anime is! And, and, uh... I made a bunch of friends! I had a roommate but she disappeared when I came home from a party and people say sometimes people just go home but I looked everywhere anyway... Oh, oh! Makoto-san and I chased ghosts out of garbage cans! And we had an arts festival and I got to sing for a bunch of people even without my unit! And some guys are making an idol agency! But I hope it's more fun than idol agencies back home. Uhh... Lots of stuff!

[He remembers Saya showing him a map, he could probably use that to figure out how to get to Yuri.]

[He added faintly as he listened to her with a smile.]

Almost too much, but you have been here for three months so it makes sense.
