It seems we have quite a few travelers out of time here! It's reassuring to see I'm not the only one left puzzling over concepts like the 'phone' and the 'vending machine'. ... We were all perplexed by the 'vending machine' weren't we? That wasn't just me, surely.

Before I let this get away from me, I'll dispense with the pleasantries immediately; I am called Oengus, and I can almost assure you that I'm glad to make any of your acquaintances. I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can in the time that I am here, as I've already met just shy of a half dozen of you and I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about anyone.

I suppose the most pressing issue is... I've never had to go looking for a regular job before. ... I have no idea what I am doing, nor where to go, or who to speak to. I cannot remain where I am forever after all, and I'll assuredly need money at some point... So it would seem.

If you've no information on that front however, please feel free to tell me something about yourself! Trivia from home perhaps, or where or indeed when you are from! Anything that comes to mind, really, as I've implied earlier I have... very little to do right now and I'm in dire need of conversation.

I've begun to wonder...

How many people are accustomed to traveling through time? There doesn't seem to be many by my estimate, but I might be mistaken.

(She pivots to a lighter topic, feeling a little nervous. She really has no desire to see the next century or the one after that - unless there will be no interruption in her current lifespan.)

My paintings will be featured in a museum. Some of them anyway. The rest I am keeping. I believe I will meet my friends again and the paintings will help me remember them.

Hello everyone.

I don't want to take up everyone's time, so I'll be brief with my observations and questions here. It's become increasingly apparent to me that while everyone has been gifted magic, that there are several people who want to help who have no combat or non-magical fighting capabilities.

My question is this: Have you considered that you might also need physical attack and defense training as well?

If something happens to your magic you will need it.

I wouldn't be opposed to helping a few people train themselves up to be able to protect themselves, should their magic be depleted or fail altogether.

Just let me know.

So after the memory portal thing, a bunch of monsters from our worlds showed up, or copies of them? (Sorry if you ran into Fragment of the Universe, the one that looked like a crayon drawing with hearts on it - that one's mine, I promise they're actually a sweetheart and didn't mean to drive you insane.) It might be good to have an idea of what kinds of other entities people are used to in case this happens again? Or even if it doesn't and I never have to fight any of them, I like hearing about all the weird and wondrous species out there. Tell me about their powers, their behavior, their physiology, anything. ...Also, I'm not going to lie, if there are any hot ones I especially want to know about those. I have never felt shame in my life and I'm not going to start now, this is a promise.

Hello, I believe this is my first network post despite being in this land for a while, but I have a question that I feel would be best answered in this type of public forum.

Emoticons: I have been told this is a way to convey emotions effectively via text i.e :) = happy and :( = sad. These I understand and know how to use in text conversation, but when I tried to learn more complex emoticons to better express myself, I found many that were confusing.

Examples of emoticons whose meaning I am perplexed by:
