[The camera turns on and Flynn is staring at someone off camera, frowning slightly before he looks back at the recording device. He opens his mouth to speak, then shuts it, and then finally he relaxes. He gives the camera a smile and a nod of acknowledgement]

I was told that this device can record me and put my words onto a network.

[Flynn gives a small wave.]

Consider this a practice round for me. I'm Flynn Scifo, and I hope to get along with everyone.

[He looks back over to whoever is off camera and cocks his head to the side.]

Is that good?

[The blond looks back at the camera and gives a sheepish grin.]

Oh. Well, it's more arte and blastia based than this one.

This allowed me to defeat monsters and protect the people in towns. We only had blastia technology really, but we are moving from that to mana.

So things like the device we are talking on, aren't something we have, or video games.

[Oh. That's a lot of terminology that Izuku doesn't understand but he thinks he gets it? It's almost like Flynn is from a video game himself.]

Mana... I've heard of mana before.

[You know, from RPGs.]

So your ring helps you use skills to defeat monsters I'm guessing? That sounds useful. There are monsters that threaten the barriers of the city here sometimes so that will probably still be useful.

Yes. That's exactly what it does. Also, we had similar things happen so this isn't something that's unfamiliar.

[He was used to going outside the barrier and fighting monsters to keep people safe.]
