[ the audio recording opens up with someone breathing heavily. Not the kind of panting that follows physical exercise, but an uneven, stuttered sort that belies disbelief. shock. ]
...It's tomorrow. It's tomorrow. Ohhh dip, oh dip, oh--heck. Dip. Dip dip diiip, it's really here. Ahahaha...ha...haha...ahhh... It didn't end. It didn't end and it didn't start over and the sky didn't melt and it's tomorrow...!
Please tell me you guys noticed--it's not just me noticing this right?? Someone answer me and tell me you noticed!
[ this may seem like a bit of an odd thing to post on the network but L I S T E N. When you've been trapped in a 13-day time loop for 186.604 years, TomorrowTM really matters. Nenonen's, like, ready to hyperventilate here SOMEONE CONFIRM THIS IS TOMORROW PLS?? ]

Approximately 186.604 years old. That doesn't take into account my projected lifespan, it's just how long I've been alive. It's highly unlikely I would live that long outside of the time loop.

It certainly is, by my star's standards! We choose when to return to the star unless something extraordinary happens.

You choose when you die??

( that's not the point of the question, bud. )

I don't understand what any of that means. What's a star? Or a soul? How does you living drain resources? Do you mean like food and water?

The star is our world, the one we live on; there are others too, of course, but we have been satisfied with our own so far. And the soul is... a complex topic. Suffice to say that every individual has their own, unique soul -- what characteristics are inherent in the soul and which are not is quite the debate, so we need not spend too much time dwelling on the matter -- and when someone opts to return to the star, the soul remains intact while the flesh decomposes. One day, perhaps soon or perhaps ages from that moment, the soul will find itself reborn into the world to complete the cycle again.
And yes, food and water and the resources required to create and manufacture both. But there is also aether to be concerned about, though we have that in abundance --
( hm. themis laughs to himself, pausing, before continuing on. )
I apologize, I seem to have gotten carried away.

I don't think it will help me here, but it does sound fascinating. Are all stars and planets the same thing, or is that only where you come from?
