[He wonders to himself why the remembering is so important. Maybe he'd ask, maybe he won't. He doesn't tend to pry. That said, the promise is the truth. In this weird place, with it's strange people and oddly violent broken places and tripped-out city, Nen has at least left a strong first impression. He could wind up back on Gunsmoke tomorrow, he'd still remember them.]
