I think we all need something fun right now. Especially those who need to take their minds off the cold inside of them while waiting for a cure.

So it's time for...

It absolutely sucks like a million times more than accepting a hug no matter how awkward a person you are.

I can definitely think of people who'd prefer to suffer and then spend three days as a flower, especially as holding it off means sustained contact. I try not to judge them for it. I have some hangups that most people probably find even more ridiculous.

...You're probably right. But I've been frozen solid before, so it's hard for me to imagine wanting to repeat that.

Same. It's awful. But it's their body and their pain and their secrets. Believe me, sometimes I struggle with letting people choose for themselves.
Especially right now.

It's been a while since I was close to people who could get hurt like this. I guess I forgot how to do friendship right.

There's no "right" really, it's whatever you and they decide on. [ Said with full irony given that she's currently taking choices away from one of her dearest friends and not saying word one about it because she's a coward and a hypocrite ]

It's hard when you've got a lot of loss in your past, I get that all too well. You just want them to be okay, and that's a good place to start from.

I want them to be okay. Even though I know they'll just come back if they die, I don't want them to feel more pain than they have to.

I'd lead with that, then. They may not be willing to be cuddled to quell their own pain, but perhaps they'd be willing to be cuddled to ease yours.

Oh. Huh. I guess that could work. This sounds bad but I usually forget other people care about my wellbeing here.

It doesn't sound all that bad. [ Because it's pretty familiar. ]

When this is over, we should have a drink or something.
Booze doesn't work on me but the ritual is comforting.

I've seen robots get smashed on enkephalin, I've got high hopes for that working. I'll let you know when I get some.

Worst comes to worst, can you get a buzz off of me if I'm drunk?

I haven't tried drinking from someone drunk but it's worth a try, for more reasons than one.
