I think we all need something fun right now. Especially those who need to take their minds off the cold inside of them while waiting for a cure.

So it's time for...

HOT OR NOT.

[ Objectively, Reiner wants to give 76 a full 10, because hot damn, that man has still got it. However, he hesitates for two reasons:

1) There was no spark between them on either end; Reiner doesn't want to make it weird by seeming like he's flirting when he's not.

2) This looks like a candid shot, not one taken deliberately.

So instead, he writes: ]

No. Looks like I know what that Rotom was doing with my phone now.

[He'd caught it but... had no bothered to look. Great.]

Oh, you have one of those [ possessed phones ] little guys, too?

My partner does, he's from a world pokémon are native to.

It decided to leave the phone and now does stuff like this on occasion.

Something about Ghost Types and liking to cause mischief when bored.

They can leave the phone?

[ Disconcerting… ]

Wow. Sounds like a good reason to keep them from getting bored.

Apparently, they're occupying it willingly from what I've been told- so it makes sense.

[As much sense as it could made, anyway.]

Right? At least there are more pokémon around the house to help keep it occupied now.

Still, I might need to hide my phone better when it's not on me.

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. [ Then: ] Could've been worse, though, right? At least it was a flattering photograph.

Could have been worse, honestly surprised it seems skilled at taking pictures.

[But given what Turo told him- well. Still.]

Well, if you ever need a photographer for something, you might have a volunteer.

I'm sure it'd have fun with it- and hopefully not post them to the network after.

Looks like one of the others spotted it before I did, too.

[ Reiner has to take another look at the picture. (The first time around, he was distracted by the incredibly handsome man.) But when he sees it, he types, ]

I think you're right. That's another Pokémon, right? What's it called?

[steadypulse]

[Could slowly spot one that looked like a round owl on the towel rack- the harder to spot one would be brown fluffball that looked like a weird cat-fox napping in the sink.

But that was a blue frog staring directly at the camera as it peered over his shoulder from where it was.]

Yeah- that's Froakie, decided to keep me some company apparently. Also belongs to my partner, but that one came from the vending machine rather than with him like the Rotom.

Oh, I ran across that machine. That's where my little buddy found me.

[ He attached a picture of his Turtwig basking in a sunny spot by a window. ]

Her name is Panzer. Cute, huh?

Honestly, yeah. Very cute. The little bird-like thing is the one I ended up getting- apparently he's called a Rowlet- his name's Howie. I've also got

[There were two pictures, the first was a better one of Rowlet enjoying a bit of fruit from a bowl, and the second was a picture of Eevee, looking up at the phone and head tilted, sitting on a counter now.]

Flora, she's an Eevee- and was a gift I was given a few months ago.

[ Reiner smiles at the pictures, giving Panzer a scratch beneath her chin. ]

They're both really cute. Nice names, too.

Thanks, they seem to like them as well given they answer to them. Been getting used to taking care of Panzer?

[Was a good name, seemed fitting.]

Yeah, she's much easier to take care of than I thought she'd be. I'd never owned a pet or anything, so I wasn't sure what to expect. She likes to hang out there by the window. She eats sunlight like a plant does, so you could say that she spends the day snacking.

[steadypulse]

Rather good way of putting it, more so if he's enjoying the time there. Howie has a lot more energy during the day for similar reasons- he's a grass type, too; which is a little funny for something that looks so much like an owl.

I grew up on a farm, we had farm dogs and some barn cats, so I had a little idea. My partner has been helping to fill me in on things I wouldn't know, of course.

I would've expected Howie to prefer the night, too. Guess you can't judge a Pokémon by what they resemble.

I'm glad you've got your partner to help you out. It looks like you two have made a really nice home for them.

[steadypulse]

A lot of them do resemble familiar animals in some way- so yeah, you're pretty much rigt there.

Yeah. [He... did not expect any of this, honestly, but—] They seem to get along with the dogs, too. Looks like you're already doing good by Panzer yourself.

Yeah, Panzer is a sweetie. She likes people as long as they're giving her plenty of attention. She might like dogs for the same reason.

[steadypulse]

Probably wouldn't hurt to let her socialize with other animals- Flora and Howie both end up napping with the pups when all of them have been tuckered out.

That's not a bad idea. [ Then: ] Do you think she could come over for a playdate sometime?

[steadypulse]

Yeah, sure- Turo and I live over in Amberfall, house has a big yard and plenty of room inside, too. Can give you directions easy.

Thanks. I'd appreciate that. And I'm sure Panzer will, too.
