I've come to inquire about something that I've found rather curious; in case someone else has experienced the same phenomenon as I have.

Myself and a friend, K - the last thing we remember from our worlds is different. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it common at all? And is there anything that I should or shouldn't do?

Just recently a jerk from my world appeared and he's years from my future. So yeah, you're not the only one and apparently it's even pretty common.

Not sure what you're supposed to do in these situations. Try not to get a major headache?

I don't think there's much else you can do. It's not like you can do anything about it.

I share a similar experience.

I can't claim how common such an occurrence is, but for things that you shouldn't do, assuming that you're from a further point in time, perhaps not spoiling everything about the future.

Well, some things won't hurt.

So far it seems that I'm further ahead from the others in my group, so I'll have to keep that in mind. Although I wouldn't be sure what kinds of things would be okay to spoil or not to spoil...

Perhaps it might be for the best to avoid as much as I can.

Life changing events are topics I'd avoid. You want to keep such interesting tidbits to yourself. Getting married... the sudden death of a friend, I'm certain you catch what I mean now.

I haven't experienced that here [ #lone canon warrior ] but it was common in the world I was previously in... honestly, it got pretty confusing! But I tried to treat my friends the same as I would've normally, even if we didn't remember the same things.

I'm glad that other people have had that experience and know what the best way to handle it is. I wouldn't want to have to treat the others differently just because they were in the past.

Yeah... it was a little lonely sometimes, being from my friends' futures. But they were still my friends! Just a little different than when I'd last seen them.

And, in a strange sense, it was like I got to befriend them all over again.

My situation is similar, yes. Rather, it isn't so much my memory, but theirs.

The places where I should be in one's memory are replaced by another. As if I didn't exist at all or I was someone else entirely.

You aren't the only one. Someone I've spoken to here claims to have met others from my world who haven't even been born yet, and he knows enough that I don't believe he's lying.

I hope having that information doesn't cause problems from your world, though.

I've thought about it, but it really depends if I remember anything that I've learned here when I finally go home. If I do, pretty sure remembering being dragged to another word is gonna shake things up more than knowing my brother has a kid sometime.

How much do your and your friend's memories differ? Do you think it'll mess things up for you back home?
