Hey, hey, hey, to the wonderful people of this new world I found myself dropped in! Since it looks like I'm going to be spending an unforeseen amount of time here, I figured I'd do you all a favor and drop this little message to let you all know Arataki "Never Back Down, Never Give Up" Itto has landed! Haha! That's right!

[The camera jerks and a bit of panic flickers in his eyes before he clears his throat and goes right back to yapping.]

From what I understand, this world needs more love, and I'm just the Oni to help with that! So if you ever find yourself in need of a hug, high five, pick me up---you name it, just call on me, and I'll be right there. For your convenience I answer to a whole range of names, some you can pick are: Arataki "The Strongest" Itto, Arataki "Above All, Bold-Blooded" Itto, Arataki "Beetle Gladiator" Itto, Arataki "He Might Lose but He'll Never Admit Defeatto", Arataki "He's Got Your Back" Itt--OH!

[Before he can continue, the camera shifts and there's sudden shaky movements. The visual is hard to see, but it looks like something is falling out of a tree. There's the sound of branches breaking then a loud THUD! It's followed by a groan and...a cow's moo?]

[Okay, those were a lot of titles just now... but Hijikata, being a cop, focuses solely on the incident that abruptly concluded Itto's long introduction.]

Did a cow just fall on you?

[Surely not... but then again he himself has a winged bull for a mount, so it isn't totally out of the realm of possibilities!]

['The world needs more love' means it's open season to flirt with him, right??]

[ Happily scrolling through the network, Yoimiya is having the time of her life reading through all the posts until she comes across a video with a familiar face and a very familiar boisterous voice. Ah, silly Itto and his shenanigans.

[ On the other side of the camera, Yoimiya excitedly waves, positively ecstatic to see a friend. ]

Hehe, sounds like you got the gist of this place already. Maybe once we're done saving this world, we can add Arataki "High five Extraordinaire" Itto to your list of titles.

[ Well, that was certainly entertaining, even if the video went shaky there at the end. ]

Are you uninjured, Arataki-san? [ Though maybe he should ask the cow. ] And must we use your full title to call upon you or can it be shortened?

[ The shock and concern on Navia's face are all too evident— the young man hasn't even finished listing off his myriad nicknames when the shift and movement of the camera makes it unmistakably clear that he's fallen right from the tree in which he was sitting. She sits up abruptly from where she was lying down, peering into the camera with a small frown. ]

Um... Monsieur Arataki—

[ It's best to call him that, she thinks, than any of the myriad nicknames he's offered to them. It would take time and thought to choose the best one, and to be frank she doesn't know him well enough for any of them to feel comfortable on her lips. ]

—are you alright? That sounded as if it hurt...

A simple message would've been enough.

[To be fair, all he heard has been a bit of an assault to his ears. Perhaps he should not have clicked on that video. Now he's has to suffer the consequences of his actions.]

[If he hadn't already been told about Itto's existence and deeds prior to his arrival, he woulda challenged that whole "The Strongest" title there (he still might,) but for now he just laughs because whatever the hell just happened seems to be in line of what he knows about the guy.]

I must say, I'm impressed. You really do live up to your reputation.

[From what he understands, Itto is probably fine, so he won't check up on the guy. Sorry buddy, he's heard about all the shenanigans you get into...]

{ one reason to not use video is to not spoil the magic of their friendship from the start, the other reason is because he may or may not have had a small laugh at the comedy routine this feels like. }
