[Well, the first thing the camera shows is a very large feline lying on a fur covered couch, and anyone that already knows Nanu and Persian can easily tell that someone is looking a little chonkier than normal. From there, the video pans around to a few smaller cats looking similarly round, and to a reptile that is happily snacking away on something sweet.]

[And then finally, Nanu's deadpan face enters the picture.]

I'm going to make this fairly quick: Hi. Name's Nanu, and I'm looking for people that would be up for having regular Pokemon battles. The vacation has been pretty nice, yeah, but everyone's starting to get a little round, so I should probably get them exercising again. It was too easy to get lazy with no Island Challenge to attend to.

[And that should be the end of that, but...after a pause, there's a soft sigh, a little bit resigned.]

And because I know a lot of you here are from places that don't actually have any Pokemon... If anyone ever needs help with raising any that you've gotten here, I don't mind giving what advice I can. Part of my job back home was helping kids learn to care for their first partners, so I guess I may as well.

[Look at him trying to be responsible, Hala would be so proud of him.]

The feed began a little shaky as the person holding the device adjusts. Once it focused, Night Sky muttered from behind the camera, "'Kay, it's recording."

Who was she speaking to? Why, Aymeric de Borel, bedecked in a punny apron as he stood in his kitchen. (Though those who know him will notice that his hair is a few inches longer than usual ~~pretend the screencap reflects this~~.) Night Sky's confirmation cued him to smile and wave at the camera.

"Well met, everyone. This is Aymeric with a presentation on one of my personal favourite hobbies: cooking. It is a craft that I believe we can all say we enjoy for more than just basic sustenance."

As Aymeric continued, the camera steadily zoomed in on his handsome face.

"I will be showing everyone my recipe for a dish called popotoes au gratin - at least, it is called that in the world from which I hail. 'Twould seem that the root vegetables that we call popotoes are called potatoes in most other realms. They seem to be one in the same. I will be referring to them as popotoes here." He shrugged a bit. "But I digress. Without further adieu, let's get started, shall we?"

With the camera as zoomed in as it is, the video got a great shot of Aymeric's ever-so-charming smile.

[A few seconds later, she backs away, seemingly assuming that everything is working as it should.]

Greetings, I do hope this message finds you all well. I am Cirina, of the Mol Tribe of the Steppe. I seek those that I might know of from my home. And of course, I should be glad to meet any new friends as well.

Hello everyone!

Remember that thing about making calendars last month? Well I just got one for the new year, but I was thinking. It would be nice to mark everyone's birthdays off on it, so I know who to give gifts to and when. If you're okay with sharing your birthday and good with getting a gift, can you drop me the date here? And maybe an idea for what kind of stuff you like. Like books or stationary or cute accessories. And who knows? Maybe you'll find a birthdate buddy that you share your birthday with. That'd be cool, right?

I'm asking about your winter holidays. Mine is really just around the corner - it's Rexmas. It celebrates the survival of a dinosaur to evolved into a bird in order to survive when the meteor fell. It's the birthday of the dinosaur. It's mostly just a family holiday that you enjoy with family and friends.

I used to get outrageous gifts from my dad when I was small.

[ It's said pretty fondly. ]

And next month is the Odd Soul Festival, but that's in the odd months of the year. So it happens often. It's how as herbivores we celebrate not getting eaten.

[ He pauses. ]

And when I ask for continued protection.

I know they're pretty different from what other people celebrate, though. That's why I'm curious.

[ Hypnos appears on the camera. He's cheerful. Not a lot is visible, but behind him is a wall clearly designed for cats. There's shelves that step up and places for cats to sit and relax. A random cat here or there may appear, but he finally extends his arms to reveal more of the background. ]

So, I have a Cat Cafe! I'm opening it in Blossomcrown and I just finished getting everything set up. Well, getting others to help me set things up.

[ A little laugh. ]

It's called Beans and you can get stuff like you get at cafes around here, but with the bonus of going to hang out with the cats. Or you can come hang out with the cats. If you fall in love with them, most of them are adoptable, too.

[ A small, black kitten approaches hesitantly. He lingers long enough for Hypnos to pet him before he moves on his way. Hypnos turns his attention to coo at it then returns to the camera after he's gone. ]

But since we're opening really soon I would like to get at least a couple more people to work here. I need people to help with the cats, food, drinks. Anything! You can stop in, ask here, whatever.

I'm Hypnos, by the way. But you can probably tell that.

I'm still working on giving all of them names, too...so if you have any ideas...

Anyway! I look forward to seeing whoever comes in.

[The camera turns on and shows a pile of books scattered on the floor. In the middle of said pile was Mira, face too engrossed in the time to notice that someone has taken her device to record. Whoever it is, they're able to hold it with ease compared to her gaelicats. And sound annoyed with a groan and hiss.]

Abyss take me, she's doing it again.

[It moves further away and the camera shifts to show...Mira's face? Did she have a twin that looks more annoyed? On first glance probably but the gold eyes peering out show something different.]

I'm getting desperate hence why using this to speak out; that girl needs to be outside of this house at least for a few hours. It is not good simply staying in one spot for days on end. Someone please drag her out if you have to because I really do not know what to do and it gets tiring having to fight her on it.

[Argument or actual fight? Yes. Either way, Fray just wants to be a good self care demon shadow self. Please help.]

Hey, hey, hey, to the wonderful people of this new world I found myself dropped in! Since it looks like I'm going to be spending an unforeseen amount of time here, I figured I'd do you all a favor and drop this little message to let you all know Arataki "Never Back Down, Never Give Up" Itto has landed! Haha! That's right!

[The camera jerks and a bit of panic flickers in his eyes before he clears his throat and goes right back to yapping.]

From what I understand, this world needs more love, and I'm just the Oni to help with that! So if you ever find yourself in need of a hug, high five, pick me up---you name it, just call on me, and I'll be right there. For your convenience I answer to a whole range of names, some you can pick are: Arataki "The Strongest" Itto, Arataki "Above All, Bold-Blooded" Itto, Arataki "Beetle Gladiator" Itto, Arataki "He Might Lose but He'll Never Admit Defeatto", Arataki "He's Got Your Back" Itt--OH!

[Before he can continue, the camera shifts and there's sudden shaky movements. The visual is hard to see, but it looks like something is falling out of a tree. There's the sound of branches breaking then a loud THUD! It's followed by a groan and...a cow's moo?]

[The feed shows Aymeric and Night Sky seated at the simple table in Aymeric's backyard. They're holding hands in the middle and smiling, though Night Sky's smile is a bit shy; she remains quiet throughout. For those familiar with her, she looks a little different: her skin is of a strangely golden hue, her eyes are glowing a bit, there are green streaks in her hair, and there are antlers protruding from her head. There is also a ring on her left ring finger.]

Greetings and well-met, everyone. For those we do not yet know, I am Aymeric de Borel, and this is Night Sky. We come to you today with a most joyous announcement: our engagement.

[Their smiles grow a little wider.]

What was originally going to be a party for the Starlight Celebration in about a moon will now be our wedding, and will be themed around the holiday. We have set the date for December 25th. Although the ceremony itself will be kept to close acquaintances only, the reception will be open to all at the Observatory in Coldreach. Food and drink will be present in abundance, including a hot chocolate bar in the evening.

On the note of the Starlight Celebration, I shall provide a brief explanation here, though I can expand upon this on request. [Night Sky glances to Aymeric. As his explanation turns into a bit of a ramble, she watches his excitement with adoration.] It is a holiday in my world, held in early winter. 'Tis a festival of compassion and generosity, full of good food, gift-giving, and warmth. One can expect other features such as decorated pine trees, bells, mistletoe - there is a tradition, in fact, that if one finds themselves standing under a hung spring of mistletoe with another, they must share a kiss. [He and Night Sky share a little look and smile before their focus turns back to the camera.] I could go on, as it is my favourite holiday of all, but I digress...

[It's Christmas. Just by another name.]

(It's night and Padmé is on the beach, walking, barefoot, through the surf. Her dress is more like a robe, brushing against the sand with each step and her abundant hair is down, curling gently. She pauses, her toes dipping into the water just...barely.)

I can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes, I think of him; I think of all the ways I can fix what's been done. Having my hands tied here, even with the special powers, feels like a test.

I'm not as patient as I thought I was.

Hello, those of you browsing the network this evening. I come bearing two related yet wholly different questions.
If you cannot think of an answer for one, perhaps attempt to answer the other? Though, I would be pleased if you could give answers for both.

For my first question; back in your realm, did your culture honor the dead? And if so, in what way?
I have recently learned that this is rather common practice across realms. As someone who works with the dead, the idea is quite interesting to me, especially as we did not do such in the realm I personally hail from.

And for the second: I have overheard many young Ellipsans discuss little events in which they pay money to be frightened as entertainment. "Haunted houses" and such.
If you could create the perfect "haunted house", what sort of thing would you want to see from it?

I'd like to attempt to create one of my own, as frightening others is something I am quite skilled at, but I am well aware that my tactics may stray rather far from the realm of "fun" and "entertaining" fear. Thus, I would be very happy to hear ideas from those who may participate.

Probably an odd enough question, but are there others who have jumped multiple worlds before ending up here?

Thing is, I've ended up in two absolutely different worlds before this one, and gone home- but my memories are so fuzzy about who I met there that 'tis hard to recall some things. Sometimes they clear up when I meet some of the people, but... I know I'm missing some memories...

[ She sighs and sinks back against the tree then. ]

Name's Megumi, by the by. Matriarch of the Utakata family- and don't call me a cat-girl. My kind are called miqo'te, and I'm of the Keepers of the Moon clan! And I suppose I'm a Warrior of Light, too, but 'tis normal to have plenty of those in every world I've been to. Hullo, friends...

Honestly, I'm missing a lot of friends and my children too... wish I could see them and know how they are, but- sometimes they end up here, and sometimes they leave and return -

[ Her ears flick up, as there's a noise above her. Then a crack and she blinks and lifts her head, only to shift back quickly, eyes wide- ]

What th- Alphinaud?!

[ And a very boyish yell sounds from above! The camera staggers, but catches a blur before it focuses on a silver-haired boy falling into her arms from what seems to be the top of the tree, and both end up staring in shock at each other. ]

That was the fastest I've had a wish granted!

[ And the feed ends!! Welcome little Alphinaud, again! Replies will come from both Alphinaud and Megumi! ]
