I noticed! [He closes his eyes and snuggles in his blanket, bringing it up to his cheeks.]

A-Yu is here. He says I can rest between you and him in front of the fire. Does that sound nice?

[His cheeks pink and he smiles helplessly.]

[ Seeing how Xingchen snuggles deeper into his blanket reassures Xue Yang. ]

He better be keeping you warm! Mm. It does! I'll make you soup when I get there.

[ He beams. ]

[He might be able to see Runyu too as the sweet dragon warms him with his magic.]

He is. He'll warm you up too! [Xingchen smiles at his love tenderly.] I love your soup.

[ He wiggles his fingers at the handsome dragon with a little grin.

But Xingchen will always have his attention first and foremost. So there. Xue Yang flushes happily and brushes his fingertips over the tiny image of Xingchen's face. ]

Just as you always take the best care of me. I'm almost home, A-Chen.

[ Runyu doesn't bother responding to this, he just wills himself to poor Xingchen. He waves his arm and a pot of steaming tea appears beside Xingchen before he takes a seat next to him. ]

Let me help get you warm.

[ Or at least make sure he doesn't freeze! The dragon focuses on his power and sends healing, protective energy gently into Xingchen, aiming for it to feel hopefully warmer than it normally might. ]

[Xingchen jumps a little, but then immediately shifts closer to Runyu. His clothes are drying by the fire and he is only "wearing" a thick blanket. But that won't stop him from nuzzling into the dragon's side.]

A-Yu... [He inhales shallowly and his eyes close at the gentle warmth. Oh it's nice.]

[ Runyu is far more concerned with making sure Xingchen won't come down with a cold or anything than on the fact he's...well. Naked. Not that this is the first (nor the last time!) he's seen the gorgeous man naked.

The acceptance of his touch has him smile softly and he holds his sweet friend close. ]

Just relax, A-Chen. You'll be alright.

A-Yang is coming home. [Xingchen kisses Runyu's cheek and rests his head on the dragon's shoulder.] Mmm I'm a little dizzy.

[He had been very lucky to not pass out when he fell in! Maybe Xue Yang is right. Staying awake is best.]

He's worried. If I felt better, I would turn into a panda for him.

Good. Then we can surround you and make sure you're warm and comfortable.

[ He rests his cheek against Xingchen's hair as he continues the gentle feed of energy. ]

Why did you not call either of us when you fell?

[ Runyu strokes a gentle hand over Xingchen's arm and back, pulling the blanket up further around to snug the sweet man in. ]

Let yourself rest up and get better first. He'll be happier just to snuggle in with you just as you are.

That sounds really nice. [Xingchen sneaks a hand out of the blanket folds to reach for Runyu's hand.]

I guess I was...eager...to get home. I hit my head and I didn't want to lose consciousness in the snow.

[Or in the icy water! He peeks out when he is snuggled, daring to kiss Runyu's nose.]

Naked? [He laughs bashfully.]

[ The dragon smiles softly and squeezes Xingchen's hand gently. ]

I see. In the future, I hope you will try and contact someone even as you're heading home. So we can be ready for you, or know where to look if you don't make it all the way.

[ Runyu wrinkles his nose playfully at the cute man. ]

Why should you being naked stop him from snuggling you?

I'm sorry. [Xingchen bows his head to kiss Runyu's hand.] I didn't really want to bother anyone, but I was so cold!

[Cold enough that even his Golden Core had difficulty regulating his temperature. He grins at Runyu's cute expression, snuggling in close.]

Next time you gotta go over ice, I can go with you. I got a flying cloud. Makes it a lot easier to not fall in the water.

Good thing. Make sure to drink some hot tea too. Warm up your insides with the outsides.

Invigorating. Shuanghua is sleek and fast; I make much better time than I would in a carriage.
