But no, that wasn't important right now! She took a glance at the statue of her name-twin just sat on the sofa of their apartment like nothing happened...]

I have a situation. When I returned from recon shortly after 20:00, I found that my roommate had been incapacitated. Triage suggests that he has suffered- um- severe magical related conditions?

...He's been turned to stone. I don't- know what to do.

Backup or additional intel would be appreciated.

Good point. I thought he was human but I don't know for sure.

I'll close the curtains and see if he condition improves.

No change yet. Do I need to turn the light off as well, or is it just sunlight that is a problem?

I'm not sure. I've only met the one gargoyle before, and he was outside in the rain. Perhaps he needs rain. I could provide, if necessary.

I am not a gargoyle and I have since been brought back.

I could see if I can drag him to the shower maybe. [Thankfully for all concerned, she'll get intel on how to deal with this properly before she tries to drag a statue into the shower, or dump water all over him and the sofa.]

Oh... I asked about what happens if we don't touch one another because the message had me worried. They said we would turn to stone to save us from "falling apart".

[Neither options sounded great but falling apart was definitely worse.]

The researchers added that to bring them back something must be burned in front of them and something nice must be said. And of course the person turned to stone would need touch energy right after.

What's with the ritual stuff? Burning something...? That's weird. But it at least keeps people from falling apart, I guess.

It's a simple spell by the rules of this world's magic, apparently. And easy enough counterspell to the one that turns us into stone in the first place.

I didn't think to ask...so that's why. I guess he's been avoiding it.

[She could agree it was better than falling apart, at least! Still, at the mention of the ritual, Mukuro's brow furrowed in thought, glancing around the apartment. There had to be something here she could use!]

Apparently it can be anything at all. It doesn't even have to be his or yours. So it's made really simple for us to fix if this happens more.

He was showing signs of fatigue, but nothing else seemed out of place. Nothing that would suggest this.
