[Instead of using the network to introduce himself, Tails decides to instead pose a question to the network. It would be good for him to get an idea of how many different people have been brought here, like him.

Plus, he's always insatiably curious, so...]

What's your universe like? What do you think makes it unique and special? And what do you like most about it?

[He almost sends it just like that - but realizes that it would probably be better if he himself gives an answer. It's only fair, after all.]

I wouldn't say my world is too terribly special, but it's a planet called Earth with lots of humans, and also those of us who've helped save the world a few times. We're not human, but we can talk like them! The person threatening the world is human, though. Builds a lot of crazy mad genius gadgetry and machinery to take us on. But I think he's finally mellowed out a little.

As for what I like most about it... well, everything! The forests, mountains, ruins, cities... it's so much fun to just soar over the landscape and take in what the world has to show. It reminds me what we have to protect, if it comes under attack again.

Heh, yeah, it took long enough. [He can't help laughing a bit.] I'm already almost what a human would consider their adult age, and I'm still half as tall as them!

I just hit that age a few months ago, so I know that feeling a whole lot. Don’t worry, though - there’s at least one human here who’d just love to meet you!

Yeah? I'll never say no to more new friends! [And hey, he's still got the same earnest smile that Tails always has.]

We're going to have to share stories about the differences between our universes. I'm interested in finding out how different and similar they are.

[He's still not as fast as Sonic, and he doesn't have his all-terrain mech suit, but it still doesn't take him as long as it would take most people, and before long he's arrived at the house, moving to knock at the door.]

[And upon hearing the door, Amy would run to open it, surprised to see the taller Tails before her, but smiling once she saw her dear friend.]

Tails… it’s so good to see you!

[And she’ll pull him into a warm hug.]

It's good to see you too, Amy.

[Once the hug is broken, he looks around the house.]

You weren't kidding - this place is big.

It really is. It was meant for humans, so it helps them a lot. Then again, it makes for extra room!

I'm currently rooming with Marine in the apartments. If you don't mind an extra person, I'm sure she wouldn't mind us staying here!

... Ah, right. Have you met a Marine from your world? [Better make sure she at least has some idea, first.]

That’s Blaze’s friend, right? Sure, I wouldn’t mind having her, either!

Yep. Blaze's best friend and, well, my girlfriend.

[He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. Technically this is the first time he's told anyone else about this.]

[And Amy quickly hugs him again.]

[He's still smiling, though.]

We were together in our old universe, and we happened to be brought here at the same time.

Well, I could never break you two apart. If she’s okay with it, then my house is both of y’all’s!

Guess I’m gonna need a House Extension so we can have more room.

[He has a feeling she'd be fine with it, though. Blaze might not be here, but he's sure Marine and Amy will get on well here too.]

So, how long have you been here?

Seven, maybe eight months at most? It’s been a while.

Quite a while, huh. [It's been at least that long since they started pulling in offworlders? He feels he's really going to need to do everything he can to help out here.]

Have we had anyone else from our world pop in that isn't already here in that time?

Well, there is a Sonic and a Shadow here, but that’s as far as I can tell.

Sonic's here?!

[He gets excited - look, he's eight years older, but Sonic is still his best friend. Ever.]

Probably not the Sonic I know, but still, it'll be good to see him. And Shadow too, of course.
