Good day, one and all. For those who don't know, my name is Baizhu. I come to you with a very specific and perhaps unusual request. In particular - a request to those here who are, in some way or another, considered to be immortal in their own world.
I would appreciate if anyone willing would come by the Research Centre and supply me with a physical sample for research I am currently undertaking. This is of course entirely voluntary; there is no need to be alarmed.
If anyone with any concerns would prefer to speak with me face to face before coming to the centre please respond accordingly. I have put aside more than enough time for this eventuality.
Thank you for your attention.

I think we are going to have a great deal to discuss.
hello i accidentally left this tab open forever without sending. bopping to action if ok ♥
He has never really considered that he would be opening up to people about himself, despite the varying degrees of knowledge people had. He only really shared what was important for them to know and he didn't want to mislead Baizhu into thinking he was someone he wasn't.
So he stops by, lifting a hand up in greeting and speaks. ]
Hello, Doctor.

[Welcome to his small abode, so to speak. The room that he uses in the research centre is somewhat more austere and clinical than how he would usually prefer his surroundings, but it does go some way to ensuring that he does not stay here all the time.
After some hours the place begins to grate on his senses.
He is pleased to see the other man though and greets him with a gentle smile, immediately offering him a seat.]
I'm sorry that I can't offer you more comfort, but I do only have this space on loan.

[ Albedo isn't bothered in the least. He takes an offered seat. The research center itself is an interesting change of pace for him, though he has adjusted to it well. It's not that he's a stranger to working with others, but he often prefers the chance to work on his own without others hovering nearby.
He's never one for dancing around the point of something, either. He watches Baizhu for a moment, returning the smile. ]
I don't need to be given any details on your need for these samples. I do trust your judgment as you've proven well to me that you're a respectable physician. But, if it helps, I also know the source of my immortality.

She only really cares to make comment when she feels a chill, and Baizhu always pauses in his work to attend to her needs.]
Ah, you do?
[Now there's something that quickly catches his attention. Baizhu pulls up a seat as well, looking at Albedo with renewed interest.]
And I take it that you have no qualms with sharing it?

I'm a made human. I wasn't born like most humans are, I was created. Although I am human in most ways, I do not have a human lifespan.
[ From there, he decides the most simple answer is the best way to go. It would make the most sense, he thinks. ]
My maker used Alchemy to make me. She was very skilled.
[ He's careful with his language and how he refers to her. ]

I... I see.
[What else can he say? He can hardly look upon the man like he is some subject to be studied, regardless of his level of curiosity. Albedo is still a person no matter how he came into being.]
And you are sure you have no objections to being a part of my research?
no subject
[ The answer itself is easy. He doesn't really necessarily think he'll learn anything new about himself, but maybe. And maybe Baizhu will find something about him useful for his own research. He's not being turned into a lab rat. ]
I can hardly be made to be somewhere I wouldn't want to be.
[ He's here by choice. ]

[It's touching, really... That kind of trust when Baizhu has done little to earn it (he thinks). Perhaps Albedo has something else he wants to get out of this but the fact he does not open with demands works to his favour.]
I assume your blood can be drawn in the same way as anyone else? [Albedo has not said anything to the contrary, so...]
That being the case, would you mind taking a seat for me? Just there will be fine.
no subject
It can be, yes.
[ He was made to fit in. He blends in with them well. He's just going to be around a lot longer than anyone he's met. but if he didn't bleed when he took a hit - it would be weird, right? ]
Should be easy to get some blood.
