Let me ask you a question so I can get to know you all. Just out of curiosity, which do you prefer? Cats, dogs? Birds? Or even a hillicurl?

I suppose at the bottom of the ocean?

Have you noticed anything that seems different compared to how it is lived up here on land? That is rather impressive they managed to build a society under water!

[vivens]

Well, there are a considerable things that are different just because they are at the bottom of the ocean but the basics are still the same. Markets, schools, rules, laws...you know.

The biggest thing and hardest thing not to notice is that it's surrounded by a large bubble that keeps the ocean water out and flooding it.

Oh? I wasn't aware that they needed to be encased by something. How odd.

Here I was thinking it was just another civilization that was just like any other but with water. It makes me wonder how they are able to create such a feat!

[vivens]

Isn't it? The fish-men and merfolk who live there are able to breath air just fine and aren't limited to needing to be in water. It's almost unfair.

Hmm. I don't know the exact history of how the civilization came to be, but I know that if it weren't for the light they receive from this special tree, there wouldn't be a kingdom at all.

[localweirdo]

It is, I wish I could have the ability to breathe water and air. What a shame that we live in a world that does not allow us both.

[Can he hear the dramatic sigh coming through on the text?]

But you can't leave me hanging like that. Please do tell me how they got this light from this tree? I wish to know more!

[vivens]

Perhaps that is something that you can accomplish in this world. There's plenty in his place that neither of us fully understand.

As for the light, well, it's quite simple. This special tree is perhaps the only one of its kind to be able to have its roots reaching far down to the bottom of the ocean and its branches high up in the clouds. In fact, that's how it's able to produce the light. The sun that the tree's leaves take in are then released from its roots.

Incredible, isn't it?

That is rather amazing. I'm impressed something such as that could even be around regardless of what world it is in! The closest I have anything to my world is the Light Realm, which humans cannot enter.

It is supposed to be a place for Vishaps and their Sovereigns.

[vivens]

Light Realm? Vishaps?

I'd be interested in hearing whatever you could expand on either of those. I'm not familiar with the latter at all.

[localweirdo]

You can say that it is a place that existed since the beginning of time in my world. It is supposed to be the opposite of the Abyss realm and it's only for those who pure elemental beings.

The last I heard, it was possible for humans to enter in but it's still rather tricky.

As for the Vishaps, they are dragon like creatures that rule over the area with the Seven Sovereigns.

Fascinating.

So, there are two opposite realms that I assume are opposing forces. Light and Abyss. Would there be any reason for why a human to want to enter either realm outside of curiosity?

Shame that I can't see one of those Vishaps.

In hopes to get stronger give people enough powers! Although, isn't that the case with most stories that involves light and darkness?

Although, if it helps, Vishaps are rather rare to see. People have yet to see them.

It certainly is. There is always someone who is looking to become stronger for one reason or another.

Is that so? Have you seen one yourself?

[localweirdo]

No, I'm afraid not. And yet, I hear rumors about people seeing them.

Isn't that rather odd?

[vivens]

It is. Unless someone or someones isn't telling the truth.

How would anyone even go around confirming such a claim?

[localweirdo]

Who knows but again, it's all just rumors. Is it real or is it not?

It's only up to us to find out. It is a mystery indeed, don't you think?

[vivens]

It certainly is a mystery. I wish I could get myself involved with solving that mystery.

Who is to say that you can't? Or at least, perhaps you can try to gather some information about it as there are people from my world here.

Who else here is from your world?

Certainly! You'll have no trouble asking for who is from Teyat as there are plently of people from my world here.

For better and for worse!

Teyat... That name sounds somewhat familiar.

Aren't you concerned about how many people are here from your world?

[localweirdo]

A little but I figured that regardless of whatever happens, people from my world will show up no matter what I do.

I just hope that people of Teyat will be okay.

I suppose you have a point there. There's really nothing we can do to influence whatever happens.

At least, if you believe what they've said, time is supposed to be paused back home while we're here.

Is that so?

I was not aware of this. But I wonder how that is true when time doesn't stop for us here.

[vivens]

So they say.

There's really no way to positively check if this is true or not since there's no clear way of how to return home. Well, aside of what we've been told so far.

Then might as well start our own little rumors and fables while we're here, no?
