I'm looking for a specific type of flower. It's small and white and it gives off a delicious scent. Maybe it's something like jasmine? I'm not sure. Its been awhile since I had any.

I think the butterflies will like it. {Granted they aren't real butterflies, but surely phantom butterflies love sweet scents too?}

I remember them blooming for most of the year or maybe I'm mistaken? It has been so long. My mind is getting old.

I was definitely spoiled back then. If I asked for them, someone would grow them even if it was the wrong season.

I know better now.

It's just the memories that I miss.

They likely have forgotten what it feels like to be mortal and vulnerable. I have not.

Eh, more likely they're just nuts. Most of the disciples aren't immortal yet.

Have they experienced devastating injuries or illnesses? If not, they are as naive as an immortal.

You'd have to ask Mu-shidi that. I wouldn't be surprised though, considering the amount of medical supplies I've seen orders for.

I don't know what else to think, then. They seem slow to catch on.

Or just teenagers. Which tended to be reckless even in my old world.

I was a teenager once. {Though he technically still looks like one.} I was extremely reckless.

I've been one twice. You'd think I'd have learned from the first time, but I was seventeen when I decided throwing myself at the feet of a demon prince was a good idea, so obviously not!

I feel like I've always been one... {In some ways. His body certainly hasn't aged and he has been made aware how naive he is in some ways.} But you survived. I think you have a very interesting story to tell.

Eh... to skip the part that paints me in a really, really bad light, I kind of just clung to him and swore that I'd follow him for the rest of my life so he wouldn't kill me. Whiiich he might have anyway if he hadn't passed out first. And instead of doing the smart thing and smashing his head in with a rock, I dragged his heavy ass to an inn. He was just too pretty to kill!

I don't suppose we can help our...mm...type. I didn't understand why others had such a hard time around pretty women. Then I met my San Lang and - ah yes. I have empathy for my fellows.

We've all got a soft spot for what we find beautiful, yeah? And you've seen my king. He's perfect.

I think it best if I leave that thinking to you. San Lang is my idea of perfection.

Maybe perfection is based on each different world then.

He probably would have, if he'd ever met the original goods. When I said I replaced him, I mean from birth! He never even got born.

Which is good. Because not only would he have eventually betrayed my king, but if I'd shown up after they'd met, Mobei-Jun would probably think I was a spy. Spying on him. Not for him.
