I don't know if anyone's asked this before, but I'm curious. What are the gods like where you're from? Or other supernatural stuff? How normal are they?

I come from a place where it isn't weird to meet a small god at least once, and no one says things like ghosts and demons and spirits aren't real because they very observably are. But I've heard that's not necessarily true in other worlds, and there are plenty of people who'd count as supernatural here too.

You can also just share your favourite legends or myths from back home. Those are always neat to hear.

They’re not always that different. Gods can cause as much trouble as demons. Are they that benevolent where you’re from?

Oh, I'm not saying they're all benevolent or anything like that. [ He also has experience with that. ] At least where I'm from, although gods tend to function on a different level, they represent things and concepts people interact with, and they're tied to mortal and worldly experiences. So at the end of the day, a lot of their motivations aren't incomprehensible, even if they might not be expressed the same way as a mortal would. That's why the Immaculates usually try to manage gods instead of getting rid of them.

It's harder to say the same for demons, so it's a messier, more chaotic sort of trouble that follows them.

Maybe that’s what makes them such a nuisance. They’re not unlike humans, but they’re much less fun to tease. And usually full of themselves.

Humans would be better off without them.

But maybe that didn't matter anyway since at the end of the day, the total number of people he trusts will have his back here can be counted on one hand. ]
