I don't know if anyone's asked this before, but I'm curious. What are the gods like where you're from? Or other supernatural stuff? How normal are they?
I come from a place where it isn't weird to meet a small god at least once, and no one says things like ghosts and demons and spirits aren't real because they very observably are. But I've heard that's not necessarily true in other worlds, and there are plenty of people who'd count as supernatural here too.
You can also just share your favourite legends or myths from back home. Those are always neat to hear.

Gods usually have domains they rule over, too. They have a lot of power and control over that thing. I don't know if we have like 'small gods'. I wouldn't call anyone small, but there is like a guy who calls himself King.
He kind of sucks, though.
Many gods interact with people regularly. I'm the god of sleep and I even get to often enough.

Like, in their dreams or otherwise?

As for supernatural happenings, that's very much a well hidden secret. It isn't 'normal' and is mostly seen as "things you'd only find in books, TV shows, and movies" but it does exist. None of it is good, though.

Somehow not surprising that it's nothing good. Though I would have figured that would make keeping it secret harder.

And those who do tend to either keep it a secret for their own safety or because they'd be considered crazy if they said anything.

Well, where I'm from we're monotheistic. We just have God. We also have things like Devils and Angels. God doesn't really make Himself known to humans, but he does engage with Angels. He keeps to himself otherwise. He has a habit of keeping out of business most of the time. It would probably be great if exercising that freedom didn't lead to being punished for making mistakes. And sometimes punishments can be pretty severe.
I wouldn't call myself a fan.

Sometimes they pay pretty good, though. Ain't too weird to run into one where I'm from either, especially if you know any priests.

But to answer your question...they're normal, but separate? Does that make sense to you, Skylark? They're everywhere, but so dreadfully boring it's not worth the effort. Your time would be spent better summoning a demon.
Re: un:snapdragons
First time I've heard someone call the gods boring, though. I guess demons are more exciting, in the kind of way where one getting out of hand usually means someone else is having a very bad day.

[ ...The idea that somehow there are a couple of major gods but not lesser ones feels so weird to him, if only because the gods have been in his life from his birth, apparently. ]
What happens now that they're gone?
